[Resolved] IFB Industries — regarding replacement of damaged washing machine | |||
My name is madhuri patidar. I had purchased ifb washing machine from www.flipkart.com on 22nd september 2017 and received it on 26th september. Please find below the product detail: Product name: ifb 6.5 kg fully automatic front load washing machine (Senorita aqua sx - 6.5 kg) Order id: od[protected] Order date: fri, sep 22nd '17 6:20 pm Total amount: ₹27, 299 through debit card Imei/serial no:[protected] The product has 4 years of comprehensive warrenty. (Please refer the attached invoice for more detail) Installation and demo was done by ifb person on 3rd octomber and we found that we got damaged product (Top was broken from left side). We raised replacement request to flipkart on the same day (3rd october). We made so many calls to flipkart and ifb to replace the damaged product. But initially they refused to replace. Later, ifb technician visited on 7th october he confimed that the product is damaged and we need replacement of it. He advised us not to use damaged machine. We didn't even use the machine for single time. We got the replacement of the washing machine on 9th october. The courier boy opened the product cover and we verified the product condition. We saw that we again got the damaged product (This time top was broken from right side). We raised replacement complaint on the same day (9th october). Replacement ticket no: [protected] The ifb technician was supposed to come on 12th october. He called us and refused to come and check. He asked us to send the photo of the damaged product along with the invoice. We sent him photo and the required detail. But after that he didn't reply. After this we called many times to flipkart and ifb. The ifb service center person said we won't replace the machine as you opened the box before the technician came. (But they have nowhere written that i cannot open the product packaging before installation). It is my basic right to open the product and check whether it is damaged or not. The service center person talked rudely and everytime he cuts the phone whenever we talk to him. Flipkart is also delaying the replacement. Everytime we call the customer care and we get different answers. We are not getting any concrete answer. Flipkart said it is ready to replace machine only when ifb will provide acknowledgement to them. But they are not providing any acknowledge. I want a replacement of the damaged product or refund of my amount in case they don't replace the machine. I can't keep the damaged product. We filed complaint in government comsumer forum (Complaint no: 468182) and will take further action if required. Please help me and solve the issue asap. Thank you.
