It’s been more than a month with regular follow ups on the poor service provided by IFB service centre in Haldwani. The complaint initially registered was for drainage problem in my washing machine and required a service from a long time. It was in a completely working condition and was looking for a service to clean the drain pump for smooth flow of water.
A junior technician was appointed for the visit to resolve the problem. The technician directly came and de-assembled the whole washing machine from the front to clean the drain pump. But he wasn't able to re-assemble the machine properly, which led to my machine not working at all and the door could not open. The request was now transferred to a senior technician due to fault by the junior technician from the same service center.
My machine is working now but still showing a 'Door error' that the senior technician did not resolve. And they claimed their Service Charge as well which was paid to them. The fault was by Junior Technician in the beginning.
I have tried to call the customer care and even talked to the escalation department on same who promised us to send the technician from Branch Office. Now they say that the senior technician that came the other day and connected the machine to direct that has affected the mother board and I will have to get the mother board changed at my cost. But why? Wasn’t it the technician fault to not recognise the problem, making the machine direct? Why should I be paying the charges. The service area head of Kumaon region is trying to back up the technician. I have no support from whosoever and just trying to follow up to get my machine restored in a working condition like before. Was this information helpful? |
