Income Tax Department — Delay in getting PAN

My brother residing in UK applied for a PAN as he is going to get some property income in India. He applied for PAN online and furnished the documents required to NSDL, acknowledgement no is [protected]. PAN application was made in the second week of April 2017 but till date, he has not received the PAN. The tracking system continuously shows the application is under process. He requires the PAN immediately to abide by the tax laws of India. Please help. Applicant's name is Gopalakrishnan Srinivasan. Regards. TG Mohan (Brother of applicant)
