Income Tax Department — Notice Income tac U/S 148 and income tax under section 133/6

I Have been issued a notice Income tac U/S 148, before this was sent an letter u/s 133/6 income tax section, actually there are lots of cash deposited and withdrawals in my account in one year, this was nearly 20.50 lacs, now i have been in very big trouble, Income tax person ask me to deposited tax amount nearby 17 Lacs, scrutiny and tax and penalty, they said otherwise they will be taken action against me and may be there is a penalty of 3-5 year imprisonment,

I would i request to you pls help me if any body help me, i can not pay 17 lacs but i can pay nearly 5-6 lacs cash, please help me
