Income Tax Department — pan no. not in record

Hi,
I am Sanjeev Singh Chandel, having pan card no. AFAPC1269A, DOB 19/10/1978,
but when I go at www1.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in and fill all my details at know your pan card, it shows no record found,
And thus not able to register on income tax site
not able to submit my ITfR,
and no one is able to guide me
what to do next, pls help, highly critical..thanks in adv.
