Exact same thing happened to me Today.

I also received such calls from a guy named Kushal M Paul and when I didn't respond to them I got below message.
"The least i expect is a reply from u...i[censored] cant help someone say it ..its fine u dont understand the pain but dont become reason of an innocent child's death. Just one question, why did u teling a lie? why didnt u make the donation? there are people who respect such cause and deny calmly but do not ignore as u did..what if someone in ur family is in that critical situation and u need help and then someone does exactly like u.God have made no one equal so as one help other and humanity remains exist..If the child will not undergo the surgery in sometime then the infection would reach to different portions of body leading multiple organ failure resulting in his death..If a little humanity is there in u and i[censored] genuinely asked details because u wanted to help so kindly spare ur two minute and take the initiative to save the innocent life.."

After reading reviews, I don't want to get involved with such NGOs and it's like they are pushing boundaries.

Same with me. Got a call from Yatendra Jain citing same accident case. Forcing to see the pictures to make you emotional. Too much pushy attitude - making it feel to be a fake call. But also showed link from Government webpage, income tax website, etc. Don't know if it is a genuine organisation with genuine case.

Just got the same call today from india rehab center for ritika. Was sure the call was a hoax but this post confirms it. The silly lady sent me two sets of photos. One of a Male child and one of a female. Truly glad scammers end up being stupid and giving their game away. Please just block a delete their contacts and wish them all the best in life since their afterlife or rebirth will surely be that of a cockroach.

Same guy mentioned about, Yatendra Jain, called me today. He didn't know he was talking to someone who's worked in two NGOs in the past. :-) There were several issues with their appeal for donation:
1. It is ethically wrong to coerce a donation by trying to make a person feel guilty or fearful. This is a basic guideline that this so-called NGO did not seem be ware off. Suspicious.
2. Called the landline number and some girl picked up. Did not give me any information about their supervisor or whoever is in charge. Just told me to call at 5 PM and they'll 'arrange' a call with the CEO. Interesting. :-)
3. On TrueCaller, their number[protected] is listed as 'Mamu Office' (This is *definitely* a genuine NGO. NOT!)

Guys, please don't fall for stupid things like this.

hello guys, I am Vinay. I had received same this call regards of a burn patient MANVI. before donation, I read many complaints about this Org. I had taken a screenshot and forwarded to a volunteer who called me. his name is NIPUN. But he replied me contact no of the hospital to verify the case. I called the hospital and they accepted that this case in the hospital and this org taking care of this child. I had taken the address of hospital and personally, I visited and meet with the baby and her parents also. one of volunteer Mr. Vikas is present there who are taking care of this child behalf of INDIA REHAB CENTRE ORG. So please guys don't write these stupid blogs, because of your these blogs can put lives in danger. I have donated 1000rs after verification and meet with the baby. and I appreciate volunteering also who are doing a very great job for this baby. might be some volunteer using some wrong words, even volunteer NIPUN also forcing me for donation on the spot after read his message on Whatsapp. but after meeting with the baby I feel, this case is very painful. please don't trust on these blogs. this org and case are genuine.

Received call from a lady named, Ms. Shalini Reddy for a help for baby Manvi. When I refused to make donations this time, out of nowhere she started shouting and abusing me badly. I had never before experienced such mad behavior from someone and it was very disturbing. This is the worst NGO and maybe a fake one where employees/volunteers themselves need mental help and training. I can't say about the reality of the cases they ask help for, but given their completely unacceptable behavior, this NGO should definitely be banned and some serious action should be taken against women like Ms. Shalini Reddy.

My name is Niya and I too have been getting these calls from India Rehab Center about a girl child burn victim. First the lady who called started by begging and trying to guilt trip you by saying horrendous things the child is going through. It is possible that they are referring to a genuine case that might have existed once. But their request for help did not seem genuine as they were pushing just too much. Once I refused, they then start abusing you endlessly. I blocked one number and started getting messages from another number showering abuses and curses. And after I blocked that number, then more messages from another number! If at all it was a genuine case, they would be trying to get more sponsors rather than wasting time on cursing and abusing people! What a sick strategy! I hope somebody takes action against such scamsters. Sharing the numbers here..
