[Resolved] Indian Army — cheated by an army officer
I placed an advertisement on olx to sell my bike, mr. Sahil kumar from 61st b. N. Ssb bhairabkunda (Assaam) showed interest in the bike, took my google pay information and transfered money into his account by telling me he's paying the money into my account. He also asked for my cards picture. He committed fraud of over 2723/- inr He convinced me he's from the army by providing me with his id cards, told me there is only one way to pay me for my bike via google pay! Asked me to trust him and follow his way of making payments via google pay. At first he tried scamming for 18000/- but fortunately it didn't work. Hence he took small amounts by making me believe that he's transferring money but instead was taking out money from me. Was this information helpful?
