Dear Sir/ Madam,
My family both me and my mother have been operating an account with indian bank Trustpuram branch for the past 25 years and there is always considerable amount of fund maintained in these accounts.
For inactivity, my account was marked as not active during Covid as i lost access to my debit cards, gave a hand written request to the Branch manager in August to reactivate the account and its still not actioned nor was I contacted for any further information after having submitted all the required documents.
My mother has a Savings account and she is unable to read / process english very comfortably, her passbook entry is always a problem and her online banking services have also NOT reached us yet after repeated requests.
We are always asked to travel to HOME (Kodambakkam) branch for even a simple passbook entry.
We are being instructed to access online banking for which the details are not provided yet after more than one request.
Today in Saligramam Branch, i saw more than 2 elderly person being dodged for a simple pass book entry, which then happened with me as well.
I had to argue with the staff there to get a simple task o[censored]nderstanding the transactions made.
we are forced to maintain an account there due to other commitments as of now. Can this be looked into as many people are treated in a very worst manner and if they are illiterate its unexplainable. Was this information helpful? |
