It is deeply regretted that inspite of repeated request and personal approach the agency is not delivering the LPG cylinder booked for more than one and half months inspite of sufficient stock. On querry it was learnt that due to vehicle problem running on the route they are finding trouble to load the LPG on that route. It seems that when then vehicle owner agrees then only they will be in a position to supply. Such foul play is on going at Verma Gas Agency paravur kollam, kerala. Kindly please advise me in this regard as i possess only single connection cylinder and such an act is not at all desirable.

Kindly advice m/s. Pattammal Gas Agency of West Tambaram, Chennai to deliver the gas cylinder to consumer No: 30628 booked on 31st october 2007 at m/s. Sree Graha Gas Agency of East Tambaram which is recently closed by Indane gas company. This agency taken in to account on 3rd Nov 2007 and no delivery till date, but their records at Pattammal gas agency( recently reffered gas agency) shows gas was delivered as per the computer statement of Graha agency, even the other consumer no: 5876 mrs.Jyothi gas cylinder also the same condition. Pls intervine in this and arrange for the speedy delivery of Gas cylinder to Mr. A.G.Sekar,Door No: 24/10, vyasar street, East Tambaram, chennai-600059 of consumer No: 30628, cell:[protected] and[protected] to contact or discuss.
Due to closure of Graha agency this confusion has arised, so requested kindly to see the receipts or book whether gas has delivered or not, consumer signed or not etc., then advice pattmmal gas agency to give the immediate delivery of cylinder.As on today people who booked on 5th 6th Nov started receiving the gas cylinders. pls respond to this mail at the earliest.

Iam an Indane customer at North Paravoor, Eranakulam, Kerala.My cust ID is 10352. I have been associated with the Fortune Indane Services,Vadakkekara P.O. N.Paravur, Ernakulam, Kerala.

I have booked for a gas sylinder on 17/10/07 and they supplied the same on 19/11/07. lack of intimation of supply we were not available at home. When I contacted them on 21/11/07 they told that they cannot give it. They will supply on later and didnt gave any confirmation. Kindly do the necessary and help us.

M/s. Pattammal Gas Agency of West Tambaram, Chennai is not able to deliver the cylinder booked to them. My consumer No.40819 in the name of K. Karthikeyan ( Who is my father) have booked the cylinder 20 days back and yet to get the cylinder delivered to my home. When enquired directly, i have been told that the Gas has been delivered to my address on 15th November itself, which i haven't received yet. This is the real case of Re-routing the domestic cylinder to commercial. The Staff of Pattammal asked me to give a written complaint which i have gave them on 22nd November and they have promised me that the cylinder will be delivered next day.
But, still i haven't received the cylinder. From the recent news paper i am seeing that the law taking strict action against those misuse the domestic cylinder.
Kindly help me to get the cylinder in proper time, because we always depend on this and if not, this will be big trouble for us and we need to use kerosene or some other substance for cooking.

I live in Hauz Khas, New Delhi, and my Indane supplier is Mohanil Agency also in Hauz Khas, my consumer no. is 21710 (in the name of N. Ramanathan).
To begin with it is impossible to get through on the phone to the agency to book a cylinder, after about trying for two days, one gets through to have a bored, indifferent voice say, "4, 5 din mein pahunch jayega." No booking number is given unless you insist on it. I have booked my cylinder on 3rd Dec, today is 9th and despite a reminder and an assurance yesterday that it would certainly be delivered there is no sign of it - 6 days later.
I fail to understand why only Indane has a problem with cylinder delivery - or is the agency playing foul - I have often been told by them that if I were to carry my cylinder to the depot, I would get a replacement immediately - so is home delivery the issue here? My neighbours, have an HP service, the cylinders are delivered in 24 hours - so obviously there is NO all round shortage. Does someone at Indian Oil read these comments and offer redress or are we just wasting our time?
Please look into this issue. M/s Pattammal Gas Agency of West Tambaram, Chennai to deliver the gas cylinder to consumer No: 27435 booked on last week of October at m/s. Graha Gas Agency of East Tambaram which is recently closed by Indane gas company. On enquiring on 5th Dec with Pattammal, they told the cylinder was despatched and will get the same day or the next. However, while enquiring on 10th, they asked me to get the empty and collect the cylinder. On 12th when my driver approached they explained it will be door delivered the same day or next. Today since morning I am being trying 22266886, 22266691, 2263898, 22262812. All their numbers are continuously engaged since 8.30 am. Do advice, what should I do. Whom should I approach.

TODAY 14.01.2008, PERSON SITTING AT THE COUNTER, REFUSED TO GIVE THE DELIVERY AT SHOP TOLD US THAT NOW ONWARD ONLY HOME DELIVERY WILL BE MADE. WHEN WE ASKED HIM TO MENTION THIS IN OUR CONSUMER PASS BOOK HE THROUGH AWAY OUR AND MISBEHAVE WITH US VERY BADLY, I WANT TO KNOW IS IN INDIA WE HAVE ANY RIGHTS TO FIGHTS WITH SUCH DADAGIRI OF THE DISTRIBUTORS OR FORGET/BEAR ALL THIS. OR INDIAN OIL WHICH IS A GOVERNMENT GOVERNEMENT OWNED PSU TAKE STICK ACTION AGAINST SUCH DISTRIBUTOR. PLEASE ADVICE ME WHAT SHOULD I DO. I WANT TO FIGHT MY CASE AT THE VERY END. I have booked my Cylinder 01/02/08, through phone and the lady told that it will be delivered before 10/02/08, and when i called again on 12/02/08, the lady told that your bill is processed and shows that your cylinder has been delivered, but the Guy who delivers is irregular, his Name is Suresh and he never delivers the Cylinder On Time, we have to be back after him to get the delivery. I have made several complaints against SURESH, but the Management, RAGHAVENDRA GAS AGENCY, AVADI, CHENNAI -54. always support him and say that, they have issued the bill and based on the booking date, SURESH WILL DELIVER THE CYLINDER. THERE IS LOT OF BLACK MARKETING BY RAGHAVENDRA GAS AGENCY, AVADI, CHENNAI - 54.GOVT. SHOULD INTERVENE AND DO SOME THING.............
I do not believe that the shotage is only created at the Distributor's end as there are so many other problems starting from the bottling plant of Indian Oil Corporation and till it reaches the Distributor's Gas Godown.Labour at the bottling plants are the main bottlenecks in keeping the supply flow of cylinders as they work according to their convenience, as the union is so strong that IOC can do nothing in front of them. Again when the truck load of filled cylinders is ready for its journey the staff at the SND (where the challans are prepared for each and every gas agency) too works at there leisure.They keep truck drivers waiting for long before handing them their particular challans.Indian Oil Corporation is the only Oil company whose Distributor's maintain a good record of the cylinders supplied to them.Before reaching the gas godowns tips have to be paid at the major intersections to the traffic personnal for the smooth flow. Once it reaches the gas godown majority of cylinders are checked for their weight as this practice is being forced by the weight and measurement so it too consumes time. One major and the most important thing I will now let you people know is that "scarcity is only because of the major loss being suffered by the oil companies on each and particular cylinder". Once the subsidy burden is removed from the respective Oil Companies head I can assure you that no single complaint will ever arise regarding the shortage of cylinders. Till 4 years back the subsidy burden was being borned by the government of India but later government made it clear to the Oil Companies that reduce your net profits and absorb the subsidy burden by yourself and then the oil companies litterally retracted from selling it so openly and freely. Consumers must understand that the actual shortage is only cos of the subsidy burden.I am not defending the distributors totally.Mostly dealers are involved in un scurpolous activities but there are customers too who are making money by selling their cylinders to the sweetshops or dhabas and that is nearly impossible to stop.There is a major difference between the commercial cylinder price and a domestic cylinder price as the commercial cylinder costs 1030(19kg) and a domestic cylinder costs 294.75p(14.2kg). The day the government understands the need of removing the subsidy burdens from the Oil Companies heads there will be again a smooth supply of gas cylinders and hence the complaints from the consumers.

I am registered with M/s P.L.Gas, Kolkata.My Consumer No. is PL/1404 and had booked the Gas on 13.03.2008. I am having single cylinder connection. On follow up since last 10 days, the Distributor is assuring that the Cylinder shall be delivered on date. But till today i.e. 02.04.2008 I have not received the Cylinder. I am waiting un necessarily at my residence in for the Cylinder to come.

Its about Guru krupa indane gas co in vyapar kendra Gurgaon... Very bad service... They never pick up the phone and they say u can book for refill on these numbers only... I wonder when they dont pick these numbers at all then at the time of emergency how would one handles...its really ...they should be dragged in court for such poor customer dealing ...

We are just unable to get cylinder refills from this distributor. If you ring up early morning, they tell you to ring up later, as they had not yet switched on their system. If you try to call them "later" you will never get connected. Once I even visited them and received the same reply they were giving to everone: "You will receive your supply in 3 to 4 days". The promised supply never arrived. However, getting refills from "other sources" is never a problem. Where do they get their supply from? Has any one ever tried to find out as to how and where all small time commercial users are still getting the supply of domestic cylinders?

Anyway, this time I booked my order with "TOMOGAS" on the internet too on 3.5.08. I followed this up with a phone call at 9.30 AM on 5.5.08. I was told I will receive supply within 3 to 4 days. When I tried to explain that I had booked the order earlier on the internet too, I was told that the "system" was still not on and that I will receive supply as promised. Since no supply had been received, I called the agency at 6.30 PM. This time, I was curtly told to ring up in the morning as the "System" had been shut down!! Do these people think that the consumer has nothing else to do except keep on trying to contact them on unreachable phone lines? Why does Indian Oil not take more interest in the difficulties being faced by consumers at hands of the dealers who don't consider them to be their customers. In case any one at Indian Oil is listening, I venture to make the following suggetions:

1. Insist on the dealers on the dealers to have an e-mail address, about which their customers should be informed. Besides avoiding busy telephone lines, the consumer will have a record of the booking.
2. Indian Oil must create an e-mail address and have dedicated phone numbers for registering complaints regarding dealers. These obviously need to be extensively advertised.

It is very surprising that no one at Indian Oil ever thought of having some arrangement for their gas "customers" to register their complaints against their dealers. Do they expect the dealers to tell them about the difficulties they are creating for their "customers"? Or are they just not interested? Or again, they know about all the malpractices but are just not bothered?
Has Indian Oil ever responded to any of the complaints posted here?

Indane LPG — NON AVAILABILITY OF NOC

I WANTED TO CHANGE FROM INDANE TO HP FOR BETTER SRVICE. HP WANTED A N.O.C. FROM INDANE. INDANE DEALER TOLD HE CAN NOT GIVE IT. IS THERE ANY COMPANY RULE REGARDING THAT? OR -- IT IS JUST THAT THE DEALER DID NOT WANT TO GIVE IT BECAUSE HE WILL BE QUESTIONED? KINDLY HELP.

when u give this t v to your udaipur office ( udaipur gas services )near sevasram udaipur they told me to paid complet amount with rs 1900/- ( rs 2865 )
but when your jaipur office cant give me such amount then why i give your udaipur office complete amount .

lpg (indane) — no delivery for 20 days

sir/ madam, i am a LPG consumer of sunam, district sangrur in punjab. distbutor of my area is sunam gas service, old anaj mandi, sunam. i booked my number dt : 06june, 2008. many times i call for delivery in sunam gas service office ( tell:[protected], but they asking delivery is given two days. but till 27/06/08time 2:11pm. no body delivered my gas service. tomorrow sunam gas service`s delivery boy behaviour roudly his named kailash . he is saying i m not given your sylinder.

hie behaviour is very bad & miss behave with us. can i hope for solution of this complaint. ( my coustmer no: 1465, s.v.no: 269170)

Indane LPG — REFUSAL TO SUPPLY LPG REFILL TO CUST.NO.31441 BY Mr/s SHARMA GAS CO., UTTAM NAGAR, NEW DELHI

Dear Sir,
I am an old Cusumer of LPG taking my supply of domestic LPG cyliders from Mr/s Sharma Gas Company, Uttam Nagar, New Delhi ( Ph : 28564166, 28564167,[protected] since a very long time . My Costomer No. is 31441. The distributor has since refused to supply LPG to me . Last supply was done on 19.07.2008 only.He has also not sent the refill to my Home despite my Tele-Booking on Telephone No. 1260 on 8th August, 2008 at 9.53 AM with Sr. No.1, though he is continuing supply to other homes in my lane. On enquiry, the distributor informed me that my connection has been transferred to Mr/s Raj Flame, Mohan Garden, Uttam Nagar, New Delhi . As this is done without taking my consent causing significant hardship to me, I request you to intervene, take necessary action against the erring distributor and continue my supply from him as before.
Even after 15 days of Booking on Phone No, 1260, I could not get my LPG refill.

Dear Sir.
My indane LPG consumer no. is RF-5673 which is alloted under my father name and registered with M/s Raj Flame, Rama Park Bus Stand, Najafgarh Road, New Delhi.

I book my cylinder through 1260 by MTNL phone but I never receive the cylinder on time. My efforts to contact in agency goes in vein because contact nos. of agency i.e. 2533899 & 25337713 always keep engaged or hang up during working hours.

This agency does not ensure delivery on time. Last time i booked my cylinder on 22nd August and still on 3rd September i am waiting for my cylinder at my door.

Please do some valuable majors in this regard which will help me to get the delivery on time. If possible kindly give me contact no. and name of concern officer of my area.

Hoping Indian Oil will take necessary action for their customers satisfaction.

we have booked the gas.when we get a delivery, the next booking is done only after 21 days and delivered after one and half month.we are totally 8 members in our family and we cannot be satisfied with this sort of delivery.please help.even if we go there and inquire about it they don't even bother to reply us.

Abnormal delay in LPG supplies


I am a LPG Indane customer with SK Gas Agency, Ranchi Jharkhand. and my consumer Number is 14201. S.K.Gas Agenecy is not booking the gas on Telephone in spite of my repeated requests, niether they are supplying LPG timely. Indane (Indian Oil Corporation) should terminate his dealership.


Is anyone in the company to look after my problem?
please tell me that how I can get a new indane lpg connection in koparkhairane or vashi in new mumbai?
Sir,
Iam an Indane customer at Clappana, Kollam, Kerala.My cust ID is 10978 in the name of my brother Navas). I have been associated with the M/S Omkaram Indane Service, Kallor Jn., Oachira, Kollam, Kerala.

I am possessing only one cylinder and booked for refill on 25th Aug'2008 vide booking No. 4497 with above distributor. After elapse of 61 days yet to get the cylinder delivered to my home. When enquired directly, they told that due to shortage of supply they are not in a position to deliver the cylinder. Whenever we contacted them for delivery they informed that they will supply it within one week . Yesterday we again contacted them and the answer is usual.

Sir, I am serving in Ministry of Home Affairs at Delhi. My family including old aged parents and school going children residing home are facing difficulties due to this. I also personally contacted them last week and they assured me that they will give delivery next day. I fail to understand why only this distributor has a problem with cylinder delivery even after 60 days or is the agency playing foul.

Sir kindly advise me in this regard and necessary steps may please be taken against the defaulter.

I am a LPG Indane customer with PURANPUR Gas Service, PURANPUR(PILIBHIT), U.P. and my consumer Number is 560. I have booked for a refill on 30.09.2008 under order No.7966. Even though it is more than twenty five days, I have not received my refill from Indane (Indian Oil Corporation) dealer. I made many phone calls to know about the delay but they do not pickup the phone. I also came to know, that they were distributing the cylinders booked on 15/10/2008 today, but my cylinder has not yet been delivered.

Kindly inform Rajammal gas Agency to deliver the Gas cylinder on Time. Even they dont accept the booking. They told us the booking time for forthe cylinder is 25 days after the cylider is delivered and after booking they will deliver in two weeks of time. That counts for more than 40 days for a cylinder. Even for normal cooking usage a cylinder will not available for more than 3o days, how thay expect us to use a cylinder for more than 40 days.This is ridiculous. whever we approach them thay say the have not received the load.

The telephones two nos. available at rajesh gas agencies, madhavram, are kept on the table. not in the stand. so we are getting pre recorded message of the line is busy. There are lot of complaints against the agency. What action has been taken so far. Come out of 4 walls and see what is happening in the city especially in the mathur madhavaram area. are u having the courage to meeting the public in person by conducting the consumer meet in this area. hopeless service . my aunts son has also worked in the ioc as reginoal finace director at delhi.we cannot even book for the supply. what a pity. are we in india or in uganda. lot of threatening. better take action to wind up the agency.

It is deeply regretted that in spite of repeated request and personal approach the agency is not delivering the LPG cylinder booked in spite of sufficient stock.They don’t even answer properly to our questions. Such foul play is on going at Gurukrupa Gas Agency, Karelibaug Vadodara (code No. 9112629). Kindly please advise me in this regard as I possess only single connection cylinder and such an act is not at all desirable.

The cylinders are in such a dilapidated condition and so dented that fear of leakage is always there. Not only fear the cylinders these leak a small amount of gas regularly from the valve. Why does the company not change such old and dilapidated cylinders?

The response given to customers by the staff at the above mentioned is worse than a Ration Shop.They are not doing us a favour by booking cylinders they are paid for it, and WE ARE NOT GETTING THE CYLINDER FREE.
We had booked a cyclinder on 21/11/2008, even after several calls and visits they fail to give us a proper response.

This complain is regards to Zincu Gas Services located in Dimapur(Nagaland).The agency sells most of its stock is black market and we guys who are registered with their agency are left with no other option but to buy the gas at higher prices in black market.Few days back a rediculous thing happened, they were giving gas only to nagas.It should be first come and first serve, so why they are being partial.They are doing all sort of things you could never imagine.I request to please look into the matter so that the is fair distribution of gas in the area.

I am very much puzzeled by your distributor FAIR DEAL GAS CORNER, 16 creek row, Kolkata. I like to inform you that they are not picking their phone. I am booking for supply on 11.12.08 but till date i am not getting my supply, while personally visting them several times they assured tomorrow you get but they are not delivering.My consumer no is 5775. I am very much pleased if you call me because i am not clearing my pain through this mail.
I am a customer of Indane Distributors( customer number : 38780, Rajalakshmi Agencies, Dharmapuri
636 701). The delivery boys who are working there misuse the refill and deliver to the others and make good money.When i complained about this, the distributor has taken action. thanks to the dealer. but he put the bill lately for 10 days. Due to this irresponsible activity of the delivery boys, my next refill booking date has been delayed further 10 days. The gap between booking and delivering the refill has been prolonged for 30+10+ 30 + 70 days for the first refill and 40 days for second refill. and there is a standing inbuilt announcement is : Booking will be held only after 30 days. No Officials of IOC are keen on issuing such a open announcement of the duration of the refill bookings. Though there are number of queries made over mail/phone no officials are responding. i will have a plan to get information by Information act.Before that i hope to get clear cut policies about this from the officials of IOC.
I strongly agree with all the sufferers above. For the past 1 week I am struggling to get my refill but nobody is listening!! Even this Consumer Complaints Forum seems to be a fake one! Is there any action being taken?? I am a 63yr old lady. Not keeping well most of the time, plus most of the time I stay alone. Its not possible for me physically to run around the distributing agency and the delivery boys to get a refill. I've booked my cylinder on 18th of December, 2008 and 16 days have past...nothing has happened. No cylinder, nothing. I've given a call at least thrice to the distributor, and they're like "aaj hi bhejtein hain" etc. But alas, no cylinder in sight. I can see the delivery boys are selling the cylinders to people approaching to them, but I can't do anything about it. I feel so helpless!! If I ask them, they say that they didn't get any slip yet. Now, I am totally stuck. I am, like other consumers are at the mercy of these people. These problem is getting on my nerves. I am mentally traumatized by these kind of behavior. Indane is entirely responsible for this. Still, hoping that these problems get resolved, I am giving the details below.

Indane LPG — Non booking of LPG

I am a consumer of LPG connection No. VR32133 from Vijay Rattan Enterprises, 445/1, 446/3, Karkardume Crossing, Vikas Marg, Extn. Delhi ( Code No.[protected]. I am holding this consumer no since 1999. Last year I have gone outstation for some time hence we have not taken gas cylender. On coming back in November 2008 we are trying to book the gas from the same agency but every time they told us that an office rwill verify our connection from IOCL side which is at present not available at thier office. They also told us that we have to come next week everytime to meet him personally. But everytime he is not available at thier office. We have to face a lot of problems due to this even have valid connection.

Kindly help us out.

Indane LPG — Delay in supply on transfer

On our shifting to the new flat in Guruvayur, I got my Indane LPG connection transfered to Guruvayur and booked the refill with M/s Guruvayur Indane Services, at Aroma BLDG, Outer Ring Road, Guruvayur, on 2nd Jan. 2009. They told that even if mine is the 1st cylinder on transfer, I have to wait for 30 to 45 days to get the refill. The behavior of the staff is very arrogant, especially the man who sit in the front desk. My booking no. is 520. Last week When I inquired I was told that I may get it in Feb. 09, without any assurance. I am almost sure that supply has been effected to those booked after me.
On transfer at least I would have been given the 1st refill immediately. At least they should tell me the specific day on which they will deliver the cylinder, so that one o[censored]s can stay at home to collect the same. Usually they will simply say that the door was locked, with out informing.The Phone no. has been given & entered in their records.
I feel that this Agency is doing all sort of manipulations tn the supply of refills to their advantage. Such inordinate delay is the artificial creation by this Agency. The very functioning of this Agency needs to be thoroughly investigated by some honest vigilance officers, and if found guilty, severe action should be taken, so that the distributors provide the services in a more customer friendly manner, within the regulations laid down by the IOC.
I trust that this will receive the attention of all concerned and the functioning of this Agency is set right to benefit the common consumers

I had booked gas cylinder on 14.1.2009 with the request to deliver the same on Sunday. Our consumer No.is CG26497 and dealer is City Gas, Ist Floor, Sector 37, Chandigarh. However, till date no delivery has been made despite our repeated askings and even visit to dealers premises. They say that delivery was sent on Monday and house was locked, which absolutely untrue as nobody came to deliver the cylinder. Be that as it may, when the agency agreed to send the cylinder on Sunday why the same was not sent on that day. Even thereafter no delivery is being made and when we contact the Agency they only give assurances that delivery will be made in one or two days but no supply has been made. It appears that the cylinders are being black-marketed and innocent consumers are being unnecessarily pestered. There is no fun in embarassing the consumers. Please look into the matter

I have booked the cylinder on 21.02.2009 but till today I have not received it. On today morning I got new that the running cylinder in kitchen ended. We all remain stnad still as noting remians to do. My children and myself move to our schools and offices respectively without even tea.

I donot know how other emembers will live rest of the day without cooking.

All it is due to the inefficient distribution of Rai Gas Agency of Bhopal. It is repetative and rediculous behaviour.

I live in Bijnor Uttar Pradesh. In our city the Indane Gas is supplied by Bijnor Gas Agency. After booking, the gas is not deliverd for more than a month.Thit is not a situation with only me, as when we go for complaining for no delivery we found many people satanding in a queue for the same purpose. The person writing compalints writes our compaint and gives us a probabale date for delivering the gas, but the gas is not deliverd untill we complaint for atleat 6-7 times. Last time I had booked for gas was on 29/March/09 and the gas is deliverd on 18/April/09. I request you to see in the matter, as it is not a personal issue, the whole city is suffering this situation, except those who purchase illegal gas cylinders for cars, I wonder from where they get the gas cylinder, if supply is low as claimed by the agency person.

LPG cooking gas Indane — Supplier not cooperating with supply

I requested Rama Indane S.C.O-144 Sector25C, Faridabad to supply gas cylinder today.
The person who responded said he would send the cylinder tomorrow morning.
I requested him to send the cylinder in the afternoon around 3 pm as there would be no one at home in the morning tomorrow as it is working day. He refused saying that he will send only in the morning before 12 noon and on Sundays they do not work.
How will they service the customers who are also working on all week days except Sundays??

Twari Road, DumDum Cantonment, Kolkata 700028 (Code No.[protected]. I booked for supply on 19/05/2009 (Order No.6498) but yet to receive supply from the dealer. I have noticed that local restaurants, road side meal shops are getting supply easily by paying more to the delivery persons. But repeated persuation and request to the dealer makes any help to improve the situation.

Do you have any mechanisim to control this type of malpractice?In that event my earnest request is to apply the same to help us to get out of this harrasment. Your kind intervention is solicited to solve a long awaited grivance against the particular Distributor mentioned above.

Customer No. RP-10917... I have booked the cylinder on 20.8.09 morning at phone no. 1260 and booking no, is 11. My gas agecy is M/s Rani Bagh Gas Agency, Yadav Market, Rani Bagh, Delhi-34 but till now I have not received the gas cylinder from the agency. I reminded yesterday at IOC Customer Service Cell at no. [protected] but still waiting for the same. And other thing is that for the last six months, I am unable to get the contract on phone with the gas agency, because telephones of gas agency are always engaged and due to this problem, it is very difficult for me to book the gas in routine basis also. I am indane gas consumer with customer Service No. S17148 Secular Gas Agency, Panchkula (Haryana). I booked a cylinder on august 06, 09 which was delivered to me on august 22, 09 after regular reminders.Refill Bill No. 1101. Heavy leakage noticed and complaint was lodged with the agency by phone call. Even after regular reminders through phone calls and messages, mechanic has not come till date and problem lies unattended. It is very lamenting that agency services are very poor as most of the time they dont attend to the phone calls and no emergency handling facility is available for such condition.
Kindly consider the case and do needful to help as you ll appreciate that leaking cylinder is hazardous.

I have booked for gas from Anandapuri gas agency, SS Kovil Road, Tiruvanandapuram on 23/09/2009. When ever I enquire for the cylinder, reply that they are waiting for load. Why this much delay for LPG load in this area. This may please be enquired for the delay.Our 2nd cylinder is also empty.
Pl note that in Calicut, Newsprint Nagar, Kottayam are load is fast.

My LPG Indane Consumer No. is 62730 with M/s Yadu Indne Gas Seva at the above address.

Booking for the LPG was made on October 03, 2009 vide Booking No.2780 .

On the day of Booking it was informed that the delivery would be made within a week. But till date the deliver of the LPG has not been made to me, even after repeated reminders to them.

Request to take immediate action to make the delivery of the LPG immediately and enquire the cause of dalay in providing with us the most essential item.

indane gas agency( Arivand gas agency, poojappura, trivandrum, kerala) is very poor service in delivery. when ever you try to book or ask any information reagarding the cylinder, the reply is very bad, it will come next week, etc...and inform a day, but i[censored] call on that day, they said it will deliver for next week. one of worst agency and the customer support is very bad. i[censored] want to meet the manager u can't. if we ask any information the answer is not satisified or roud, please ask them to attent the calls. and give the cylinders by correct priority. once again it is the worst, bad agancey, other new customers pls try to book other agancey

Indane LPG — Not being delivered the refilling cylinder

I'm an Indane consumer of Veer Shiv Gas Service, Ratanada, Jodhpur (Rajasthan) with consumer no.38831 having only single cylinder connection.
1. I had booked for refilling on 26.10.2009 at10:35 by sms. They have not supplied one still after 17days till today (12.11.2009)

2. Before it, I had booked on 03.09.2009 at 16:48 by sms. They supplied me after 29 days on 02.10.2009 (billing dt.30.09.2009).

3. Still before, I had booked on 24.07.2009 and they supplied me after 20 days on 13.08.2009.

4.No any response is provided by the agency on its phone number generally. Although at this time at 12:46pm he replied me on phone that I will be supplied after 6 days.

5. A long cue can be seen any time in front of the inquiry window of the agency. It is a heavy time consumptive task to be contacted with any person on the agency.

6.Please bound the agency to supply the refilling in proper time described in the company's declaration latter.I have suffered so much troubles due to not supplying LPG by the Indane agency.

7.Also the consumers are bounded by LPG companies not to connect with any other LPG agency. Hence I'm bounded to take refilling from the Veer Shiv Gas Service. While the Veer Shiv Gas is not carrying for serve me. Then how I fulfil my fuel requirements. Not to be suppllied LPG becomes a survival problem many times.

Please take a keen interest to solve this problem.

Indane LPG — Non delivery of cylinder

The INDANE LPG agency at Kunnamkulam,Thrissur dist,Kerala state is delivering cylinder after two months of booking. I had booked for the cylinder on 25 SEP 2009. My consumer number is 7376 .
Kindly intervene and ensure the delivery of cylinder within one month of booking.
In this agency the booking pattern followed is also different form that of others.
I have booked my LPG refill against my No.10942 with Arvind Gas Agency, Sector 10m Bhilai on 16th Nov 09. Till date the cylinder is not supplied. When I asked yesterday they said it will take another 6 days or so. What a service? I am allowed booking after 21 days. They they will take another 15 days to supply. That I will get a cylinder in 45 days time!
Is anybody there to ask?
I am residing Alleppey Dist of Ampalapuzha, Near by agencies called Latha Agencies
My consumber No : 19816 residing within a KM circumstance and nearby godown of Indane.

Indane LPG — non supply,delay,non booking of cylinder

i am indane consumer.i was regularly lifting lpg cylinder under carry home scheme.but due to some restrictions the company supplying lpg directly to home.but as we r working in govt office we awere not available at day time..so we are arranging the neighbours for getting our lpg supply..now its very difficult to get the supply.its taking more than 60 days to get refill.last time i have booked the cylinder by telephone.But today they supplied lpg for all the neighbourhoods .But i didnt got cylinder.when i contact the agency through telephone they told me that you did not booked the gas.Actually i have booked the gas through phone and the people there confirmed it.Now i didnt got the gas and they ask me to wait for another two weeks for supply.i am suffering because of the gas agencies negligence.Now my two cylinders are empty.Please take action against the indane gas agency kodungalur,trichur dist,kerala.Please take necessary steps to get the lpg cylinder by carry home scheme.Its very useful for office goers.

    I work in R&D section of MRF Ltd, Tiruvottiyur, Chennai. I stay at Ashok nagar. I have problems in making booking of gas cylinder with my gas agency, Kavitha Gas Agency, Ashok nagar, Chennai over phone as their telephone numbers are always hang up. I am unable to book in person as my working hours are from 8.00 am to 4.30 pm on all days(except Sundays) and by the time I reach home on week days is 6.30 pm. My wife is a teacher in a school in K.K.Nagar and she reaches home between 5.30-6.00 pm.
    I kindly request the matter to be looked into and make arrange ments for me to book cylinder with my agency over phone or request them to take orders by email providing me their email address. I have one more suggestion, they can create a website and make their customers to book gas cylinder online.

Unfortunately the booking number was misplaced by me, many times i visited the agency of Indane at PALEJ & inquiry there many time by phone about connection, but everytime they are giving only consolation and still I am in waiting for it.     I am from Hyderabad, a resident of KPHB Colony, Kukatpally. From the last 6 months i am trying for a new gas connection from our INDANE GAS dealer Kalapana Gas Agency, he is telling the same story.

    When i go in the first week he asks me to come after 15th becz of no stock and when i go and meet him he asks me to meet him after 25th...when i go after 25th he says please come after 3rd and vice versa

    the same story is repeated from almost 6months...i dont know whether they have or dont have the stock but its almost irritating. i am married almost 8 months and i am in regular contact with them from the last 6months.

    till date i have not recieved any postive reply and i am really vexed and fedup with their responses..

    when they dont provide service to the customers they dont have the right to hold a dealership certificate.

    this is really digusting...can the higher officilas look in to the matter and give an end to this problem.

    I'm trying to book new connection from last 3 months at Hyderabad, Bowenpally LV Reddy gas agency, 1st month they said we book the cylinder from 5th to 15th every month, I went on 9th of that month but they refused that for this month quota is booked, next month I went on 6th only again they said it was booking closed on 5th itself, this month I went on 5th at 10 am in the morning, again they said booking closed by 9.30 am itself. Now I don't know what to do to book a new connection no one there is even ready to talk also, they treat the customers as if they are doing any favor on us. I'm in a problem every month need to buy that small cylinder at non subsidized rates, which is not affordable for me.

    The status of the phone will be out of order or engage all the times. The agency is 15km from my house and it is difficult to go and apply directly.

    Dear Sir,

    Amar gas dealer for Indane gas is not supplying gas properly. There is diversion of gas, the receipts are not given to the consumers and on repeated follow ups gas is supplied after 10 to 15 days.
    The dealer and the officers should cross check randomly the receipt of gas to the genuine customers in time. The delivery boys are forging the signatures and submmitng receipts and not giving receipts to the original customers.

    They either not taking the phone or it will be engaged.I request you to kindly arrange for e-mail booking.
    Recently it was told that there is no scarcity for indane gas and no booking is required and they will

    Indane Gas Cylinder — Unable to book the Gas Cylinder

    I have been trying to book gas cylinder for the last 7-8 days and continuously trying to call the concerned Agency Trimurti Gas Service, Vikaspuri but they are not picking up the phones. Through online booking I could book the cylinder on 11/1/10 but till date supply of cylinder has not been made.

    The Indane oil gas service provider PUNEET GAS SERVICE in Rohini sec-16 area is harassing us like hell. They people never pick up the phone, or just keep the receiver of the phone aside so that every time when we call either it is busy or no response. When we go to their office they start giving the excuses.
    Kindly help as it is very difficult to go to their center every time to book the gas in office hours.

    I am customer of Indane gas service with consumer ID# 15283 and I have connection from Muradnagar Gas Service.

    Sir generally we book gas after 22 days, and gas agency gives date to provide the cylinder 10 days after booking and most of the time they deny to give the cylinder as say we are out of stock. and if you are ready to pay Rs. 650 - 700/- for black then cylinder is available on the time.

    As i collected cylinder on 18 april and book the cylinder on 13 may 11. Gas agency gave the date to collect the cylinder on 23 may ( today) but today they said that we are out of stock and one man pay 710 at front of mine and they gave cylinder to him. I complain against the same but they misbehave with me.



    Please take the hard step against them.

      In the gas agency in kelambakkam,chennai-603103,phone calls are not being attended and no proper responses are received by the customers.
      ten days ago i called the agency and booked for the cylinder and they said that the cylinder will be delivered within three days.......but didnt get delivered...so we called again,they said again in two days.But after two days they said that our number was not booked yet..
      Also nno response is being given even if we go directly and always a big crowd is waiting there abusing the agency.
      please consider this matter and rectify this problem.

        5. My gas refilling had booked on[protected] after supplied gas cylinder on[protected] as per practice of next day automatic booking of gas supply.After a long time for non supply of Gas Cylinder, today I have inquired regarding today's supply. I have been told that they sent supply gas today for the booking of[protected]. when I asked why he had not supplied of my gas booking of[protected] they said this routine mistake, Now we shall be supply tomorrow.
        6. Now if they will be supplied tomorrow then they will again book on[protected] and my next gas supply again be late.

        So, Kindly look into the matter and assure the supply of gas cylinder within the scheduled time.

        for the last two times, whenever I book my gas through IOC 24 hours booking dial 1260, I am not getting my gas cyliner even after lapse of three weeks. I have to remind them frequently. My agent is M/s Sinddu Gas Agency, Dilshad Garden. This time also I booked my gas on 8th September, 2008. The cylinder is yet to be received.

        My acocunt number is 6644 with Nayar Gas of Vikaspuri, New Delhi.
        I have booked my LPG cylinder on 8th January, 09 on mobile number [protected] (Mr. Naveen of Nayar Gas Service Godown Inchage) has booked and confirmed that the cylinder will be suppllied after 3-4 days.

        I am very surprised, even after my repeatedly call on same number, evertime Mr. Naveen assured me that cylinder will delivered tomorrow. But till now 20th January, 09 at 3.30 pm I have not get the delivery of the cylinder.

        I am regularly trying to contact their main office at Vikas Puri on phone number 28544965 / 28544966 / 28547187, but their all lines are continues engaged.

        Will appreciated if INDIAN OIL authority look into and resolve these types of regular problems of the consumers and deliver the LPG cylinder at the earliest, as I have not stock of cylinder and we have to buy the cylinder from the black market.

        I have booked for supply of LPG gas cylinder on 09/02/2011and was alloted s.no. 558. I had my connection with Freedom Services, Birati. During booking I was told it will take about 10 days for supply. After 10 days when I contacted the agency, it was informed that my connection has been transferred to Green Indane agency and was directed to contact the same. On contacting Green Indane it was informed that no requisition for supply of LPG exists with them and if required the same needs to be booked afresh and will take further 10 days.
        I was neither informed about the change of agency nor my requisition for LPG forwarded to the new agency.

        I wish to inform you that I have joined as Chief Manager, SyndicateBank, Bhubaneswar Main Branch, Kalpana Square,Bhuaneswar-751014 on transfer from our Raipur Branch and have got my Indane connection transferred to M/s. Maa Mangala Indane, Cuttack Road, Bhubaneswar-751006 and have been allotted Consumer No.223 on 24/12/2010. Although I have paid the cost of two cylinders I have been supplied with only one cylinder with an assurance to supply me the second cylinder as soon as they receive their quota from your office.

        As the proprietor went on falsely assuring me but failed to supply till date I enquired about the same.The dealer responded by telling me that whatever I may do he will not supply me the second cylinder and that he has got good conenction with your office and nothing will come upon him.

        Sir, finding no other way I am now requesting you to take necessary steps against the dealer for ensuring supply of the cylinder to me and to make him realise the importance of consumers in the era of liberalisation and free market economy.
        If people like us are meted out with such treatment I shudder to think what would be the fate of ordinary customers of the aforementioned Dealer.

          Hi there,
          I agree, for the past 6 months and Still i am asking the Indane Gas Distributor at Wanawadi, Pune 411040, to accept my request for a new gas connection. But the Distributer/Dealer doesn't accept my request, further he added that he will not accept any new requests for the next six months (until Jan 2007) since there is an intense Supply Demand Mismatch in the IOCLs process of New Gas Delivery Process. Its a big shame on one of the India biggest Navrathna Inc. Further he had asked me to wait for another six months when i had rang him up yesterday(03/01/2007 11 AM). If my request for the new gas connection is gonna take another six months for processing, when would i get the cylinders delivered at my place, (another 10 Months?). Its still a question of the best practices that the IOCL follows? If at all there is any best service they provide. Will the officials be asked into look into this issue?

            Afternoon i meet the manager, he told tommrrow you will come and collect the cylinders, the bound after 5 days . And also he given a small letter to me to collect the cylinders at godown.

              Gas booked on 03/05/2010 against consumer no.-SIG-7193 from Swati indane gas service (code[protected] vide order no.-219 but not yet delivered uptill 15/05/2010. Also consumers booked subsequently already delivered.
              This complaint is right and i have also trouble with this type of problems and the gas supplies offices landline phone is always busy as the put the receiver aside.

                i have booked refill culinder way back. but due to festival season the distributors have started supplying cylinder to non registered user / shops. this causes a lot of hard ship to registered users. concerned company represented should look in to this practice.

                    from muthuagencies from vijayanagar velachery . we are staying in taramani area. when ever we are booking for sylinder
                    usual answer given and take 10 to 15 days for supply . even 25 to 30 days they are supplying . they are some where in middle road and telling us to take from there .
                    we have to pay autos to bring to home . this is the condition past 10 months . this sabha gas agency is at vandikkaran st . guindy . please give your attention for this complaints

                    Sabha gas agency is one of the agency which has got good reputations for fraud activities.
                    They don't supply refills within a month. They take their own time ( usually more than a month )and they give preference only to bribes and black market.
                    Sabha ' s pallavaram branch overtook its guindy office in terms of delayed supply, fraud, bribes, not picking the phones etc...
                    The attitude of this agency is mainly due to political support.
                    You are absolutely right.
                    Sabha should correct its behaviour or otherwise the same could be taken through investigative journals from tamilnadu.
                    Hope all will support in taking action against sabha gas agency.

                    They are not supplying the gas cylinder in the proper time, they are taking nearly 15 to 20 days after booking the gas, we are facing so many problems with this .And there is no proper response from them.How we can rectify this problem .

                    Manjula the resident of Perumal Nagar Old Pallavaram, we have been receiving Gas cylinders from Pallavaram agency, it was suspended by IOC officials due to malpractice and fradulent activities.Later it was transferred to SABA agency Vandikaran st Guindy, service is very worst and no response over telephone.Hereby request the IOC officials to take stern action and sort this problem at the earliest

                      Dear Sir,

                      Being perturb with the customer service provided by your INDANE distributor at Kolhapur (M/s. Handihelp Gas Service, Hindnagar, 226/C Tarabai Park), I am writing this mail to you for corrective measures. My consumer no. is 15065 and on the 24th. of October '07 I have booked LPG cylinder over phone (booking ref. no. 6716) for home delivery, but inspite of repeated reminders I am neither getting satisfactory reply from your distributor nor I have received the cylinder to my door step as of now. I was told by your distributor that within 6 to 8 days the cylinder would be delivered after the date of booking, then I really fail to understand why such delay in delivery of LPG cylinder while the bookings on later date are being released and on the contrary I am not getting supply. Therefore, I request you to do the needful immediately, so that I can have better service in future in this context.

                      Blue Flame Indane Service — Poor Service of LPG

                      Dear Sir,

                      Being perturb with the customer service provided by your INDANE distributor at Sanpada (M/s. Blue Flame Indane Service, Plot No 15/B, Shop No-1, Sanpada, Navi Mumbai), I am writing this mail to you for taking corrective actions. My consumer no. is K8617 and on the 5th of February I have booked LPG cylinder over phone for home delivery, but inspite of repeated reminders I am neither getting satisfactory reply from your distributor nor I have received the cylinder to my door step as of now. I was told by your distributor that within 1 week the cylinder would be delivered after the date of booking, then I really fail to understand why such delay in delivery of LPG cylinder . Everytime I call, I’m told that the cylinder would be delivered today. Therefore, I request you to do the needful immediately, so that I can have better service in future in this context.

                      Dear Sir/Madam,

                      My consumer no. 21483, my dealer for LPG cylinder is M/s Bindu Shakti Gas Service, Hyderabad, has refused to book the cylinder from past two months, they are speaking on the phone very ir-respectable manner.

                      From the past two months they were accepting the phone call for gas booking, now they are creating problems and asking document details which we normally do not carry to the work place or office. This cause lot of inconvenience for us in furnishing the details. Hence I request the authorities to look in the matter and resolve the situation at the earliest.

                        Indane Gas Agency — Delivery f Leaky Cylinder and No actions till date

                        Myself V.P. Bhardwaj ,a resident of Nangloi.I have to make a complaint against a Delhi based Indane Gas Agency. TIRUPATI-BALAJI ASSOCIATES,1,Service Center SectorV,Rohini,delhi whose another booking center is in 104,Naresh park Extn-I,Najafgarh road,Nangloi.

                        The delivery man gave a cylinder which was leaking . The Agency has not taken any action inspite of bringing this thing into notice. I called up many times at 27042000/27044000/25946340 and I suppose the person on duty had not written any compalints neither any compaint number was given.
                        There was a major risk of any acciedent apart from loosing Rs.295 for a faulty cylnder.
                        I am a regular consumer of Indane and get my supply from Vijaya Agencies, Besant Nagar, Chennai.

                        A month and half back approx the gas cylinder boy came with another person and informed as per regulation we have to change to new rubber tube and it has to be compulsorily fixed. My daughter-in-law believed it and bought and asked them to fix the rubber tube and paid rs. 240/-.

                        To our surprise the rubber started becoming coarse in use and two days back only we cam to know we have been duped from a report in the Hindu about this fraud. The rubber tube was immediately changed by us by another tube from T.T. Industries make @ 175/- which is steel clad and bear ISI stamp.

                        The old rubber sheet is still with us and bears the following mark:

                        Dear Sir,
                        I am residing at Old Washermenpet Chennai-21, I am facing the problem with the IOC gas agency At Sevenwells Dealer Name is Nethaji Gas. I went for booking a new connection today 25/10/07. They are forcing me to buy the Gas Stove along with the connection And they says IOC and central governmet as issued recently the notice stating that its compulsary to buy the stove along with the new connection of cylinder. The stove we have already in home why should i buy the other one when i have it. And they did not agree to book the new connection and he stated all others agency are doing the same. We cant change the rules for us. Pls help us. they charges Rs.1600/- for the stove and Rs.1000/- and plus other charges total amount of Rs.2855/-. pls advice wats the charges for applying for the new connection. The delivery time is given 6 months if we pay as per him the delivery time is with in 15 days. We kindly request to solve this problem

                        Will the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) authorities intervene and bring to an end to this unauthorised collection of money?

                        i am having gas connection and double cylinder.our agent is not giving services properly.we don't no the procedure for refillin of gas. that's why he is not giving proper service to the consumers.not booking the numbers before he given date by them and for double cylinder holders also.after booking not syplying properly. so i request you to send me the information about the refilling and booking procedure by customers and latest guidelines given by the ioc,civilsuplyies and govt g.o's.

                        Dear Sir / Madam,

                        My LPG Cooking Gas No. is Z0T27250 in the name of Mr. V S Nath , we have tele-called our nearby agency TIRUPATHY BALAJI ASSOCIATES, ROHINI SECTOR 5, for a re-fill 10 days earlier, we have not received the cylinder till date.

                        We have been regularly trying there phone no. which is 27042000 / 27044000 & 27046000, which is always busy or keeps ringing and no one picks up the phone.

                        Today when we again tried the no.s a lady picked up the phone and as per her there was no booking made in customer no. Z0T27250 & she said that she is booking it today, and we will receive the refill with in next four to five working days, when I asked the name of the lady she refused to tell us & neither she gave us any booking reference no.

                        We have been facing so much problems because of the above said delay in refilling the LPG Cylinder, we are purchasing food from outside market in a very expensive cost

                        Kindly suggest us what action can be taken for this

                        I would like to suggest an alternative way for cooking gas - Induction Cooking. Induction cooker plays a role as an alternative method of cooking to replace gas from our household environment. This cooker needs a small change in our wardrobe. This method of cooking requires utensils having "Ferrous" based material such as stainless steel, cast iron based, and any anodized steel based cookware.

                        Explore web for Induction cooker and this gives us the way for people like us who are residing away from native places, often changing towns for the benefit of career development and last not but not the least to come out of sluggish government officials (who just make rules – “Ration Card for even booking Refill, which was not announced in public but made official in private with LPG dealers associations”, does not think about practical difficulties – in getting ration card, often years together, and addressing the same for the comfort of the common man).

                        I,B.Ravichandra Murthy have domestic gas connection at Tirumala Gas Agencies,Nandigama. My gas connection No. is TGA-14585. I have booked for gas refill on 17.11.2007 with serial No. 78/17.11.2007. After booking for gas refill they said that the gas refill is send to my residence after 3 weeks. After three weeks I met the agency people they said that it takes another ten days as the gas is not available. Again I met after 10 days they informed that the cylinder may reach to my house with two or three days. After three days I mt again, the owner of the agency had given his mobile no. [protected] and inform me that if I have any difficulty regarding gas cylinder he may sole the problem when I ring him through his mobile. At the first time when I call him at the morning of 08.01.08 he lift and said that he will sent the cylinder in the same day. After some time I call to my house whether they send the gas refill, they replied that the gas boy is not came and serve the cylinder refill. Then I try for his mobile till now he did not lift the mobile. I am requesting you to solve my problem as early as possible. It is also requested to you this embarrassing situation may not be arise in future.

                        I have booked the gas for refelling 15 days before and they said you will get it in one week and still waiting for that.

                        The wrost thing is that I trying to contact gas agency (Hyderabad) numbers almost around 2-3 hours continiously[protected] &[protected] for status from past one week and no body is picking up the phone. either I heard the ring tone or ingagetone but there is no responce from their end. so either phone is dead or no body is picking up. The only option left is to physically reach to indane gas office to check it out that what is happening but I am sure nothing will happen and they will simply say ok in 2-3 days you will get it and same again.
                        it would be better that online we can have some website to book the gas refelling and have the status check online.

HENCE, THEY KEPT THE CYLIDER OUTSIDE THE HUSE BUT WITH THEIR COMPOUND. THIS IS COMMON PRACTICE, THIS IS A REGULARLY THEY USE KEEP THE EMPTY CYLINDER OUTSIDE THE HOUSE FOR EXCHANGE OF NEW CYLINDER WITH THE HELP OF MYSELF OR OTHER NEIGHBOUR.

                        PLEASE SEND YOUR SUGGESTION TO GET NEW SECOND CYLINDER FROM OUR DEALER.

                        Everytime we need to go by auto to that office for cylender booking. I have been so many places in India. But I never seen like this. Its very Bad.

                        I have shifted from Mumbai to Chennai, took the transfer of my gas connection and got the gas connection from Indane at the time of connection they has asked me only the address proof, after 3 month they are asking for ration card, I had shown them my Mumbai ration card but they are not ready to take it and they are saying they want ration of chennai and not giving us the cylinder.

                        I am stuck now I don't know what to do.

                        Is it must to have a ration card of the city were we current are even though you have ration card of other state.

                        I am aware the we can transfer the ration card but my project is for 2 year after which I will have to return.

                        Is it a mandatory or rule to have the ration card of that city without which they cant give cylinder.

                        I want to book a new INDANE GAS CONNECTION without STOVE and PIPE(which i already have).The owner of GOODWILL GAS AGENCY ,SULTAN PURI,DELHI-85 has refused my case.Is there any remedy available from INDANE officials?
                        Myself a consumer of Indane Distributor Chirodeep(code[protected] at Kolkata is suffering from harrasment for the last few months. My consumer number is 936. Actually according to the need of my family my requirement dosent limit to just a single cylinder a month. So very often I need to book gas within few days of delivery as a cylinder is supplied/delivered weeks after being ordered. But very often, almost everytime I'm refused to make the order if I'm ordering within weeks of the previous delivery of cylinder. They(my agency) states that they cant book an order within 21 days of delivery of previous order as per directive but as per me ,no such directive like this from the company exists. Please look into the matter with personal attention to save us from this regular episode of harrasment and let us keep the trust thet we have for your company.

                        I have Indane Company Gas Connection. My service No. is 16757, at Nilkant Gas Agency, Sagar Pur, New Delhi, 110046.
                        I am not receiving Gas cylinder in time. Last Calendar year I have received only 03 refill Cylinders. This year on 28th of March, 2008 I have booked for new refilled cylinder and i got the a Gas booking number that is 1099941, and i called every day after three days and they told it will be done today itself and now today after 15 days i.e. 10th of april, 2008 again i called them and they refused my booking and ask for new booking. Means every customer is getting such atype of service from Indane gas agency then its not a good administration for Domestic Gas Connection. Pl. helps us and guide us how we will get gas cylinder within time.

                        I am a senior citizen (76 yrs old) residing in chennai for the past 28 yearswith my family. We regularly booked gas and got it on time But from the month of January 2008 we have been asked to show the ration card. Though we had a card, we had to surrender it to get a new card, but after surrendering and applying for a new one, we never got it because I was hospitalised when the verification was going on. Again the application was submitted in the year 2007 and waited for verification. We were unaware till we saw the write up in HINDU about the issuing of Ration cards on April 9th 2008. Mydaughter enquired about the new card at the Civil Supply Office and they confirmed that my ration card is invalid and cancelled because proper documents were not submitted with the application. In the Gas agency they told me to go to the Area office of Indane gas to get a letter to book gas. Please help me.

                        I am Joseph, have a general question, One of my friends is a distributor of Indane approved Gas Tubes. He is not running any gas agency. There are two people working under him. They go door-to-door and sell these tubes for 170/- per piece. My question here is Can they do that business? Specifically does the Law allow them to sell LPG tubes? Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

                        I want to bring this to your kind notice that the complaint number given in our directory for Gas leakage is 22772008. But nobody picksup the phone. I want to know what is reason for that.

                        In case there is any emergency there is nobody answerable and a big disasterous incident can take the shape.

                        please help me. I am in a awful situation. They use to sell in black market think so, please kindly help me to get the refill cylinder, and this my hearty request to the authority.

                        Everytime we need to go by auto to that office for cylender booking. I have been so many places in India. But I never seen like this. Its very Bad.

                        I had applied for gas connection in my husband's name, but unluckily he went abroad when we received the letter for the connection. Now the officer is informing me that my husband has to come in person to get the connection, which is not possible.

                        I am writing this mail from North West Delhi, Rani Bagh, Flat No. 95 Jagriti Appt., Capt. Satish Marg, Near Rani Bagh, Delhi - 110034. I had booked the gas personally on 16/11/2010 ( Gas No. RP-3057) through the Rani Bagh gas agency because they are not picking up the phone. And till today i haven't received the gas (30/11/2010). And when i go there personally to inquire about the same they told me that they have delivered it already on 23/11/2010 but i haven't received it. And i have observed that the delivery boys also sell the gas in black to daabas and others. Thats why we are facing the problem in getting gas in time and in the agency they tell them that they have delivered it to the customer which is very wrong. And sometimes the Gas also come less.
                        I hope you will take the strict action against it.

                        dear sir, i m vikas srivastava, having conn. of indane gas from balsundar gas agency meerut U.P. with connection no.11384.i found in the agency that there is no rules &regulation of delivering the cyl. unless u must go to agency 3 to 4 times, the whole process takes about one month&other agency in meerut deliver with in a week.second, gas agency becomes black marketed agency, if you have to pay Rs900 for a cylinder then YOU must get cyl. with in a hour that is not possible for every customer.thirdly, fully filled gas is not delivered.i always take cly. after weighing and found 3rd or 4th cyl with actual weight.i also get some cly. with water filled.i have proof of it. thanks

                        the person who comes to deliver the gas collects rs.370 while the bill is only for rs.352. this has been happening forever and if we question him he gives an inappropriate answer. we tried contacting the agency but their answer was not satisfactory.

                        I can use very rough language in front of such kind of Indane employees, but think about the long term.

                        I also have been got harasment by indane employees...

                        i have told many times on counter please provide us a cylinder in a month. but they did not provide. i have booked my gas before 17 days ....booking no is 2223. the cylinder deliver person provide a damaged cylinder which can cause an accident. he took that cylinder but he did not send that cylinder till now.
                        i request you please take some hard steps to solve my problem. i need on cylinder in one month.

                          Inspite of having a two cylinder connection at home, we never had both cylinders filled.
                          Two three weeks we go on kerosene stove's when LPG is out. The costumer care of DURG (ph no[protected], 2312460) always says book it now we will get it after 5-6 days and it extends to 2-3 weeks. Even when we ask for getting it by coming on the spot they deny and say it won't be available. Several times we have to go to godown for refilling and now they are even not giving me there's no.

                          Its exam time and its very hard for student's and parents to cope up with these kind of domestic difficulties.

                            this is to inform you that your distributor in agra(u.p) by the name of

                            BHARAT GAS AGENCIES (at prapura xing agra), doesn't supply the home gas

                            cylinder within a month also..

                            you must have the knowledge that government said that there will be no

                            shortage of gas cylinders but your distributers keep sayin there is

                            shortage of supply...

                            when we book the gas they supply after a month (we have to make several

                            calls to get the delivery of the cylinder ) then they book the gas after 10

                            days of delivery.... what nonsense is this going on... i dont understand..
                            you must be aware they are doing black marketing also....

                            please keep this into account and take necessary steps to avoid this

                            problems... many of the customers are facing the same problems..

                            customer satisfaction should be your first priority..

                              On friday , 26 of october ,i booked a cylinder. the distributor ,VEER SACHI GAS ,has not delivered the cylinder yet.this is the case everytime we book a cylinder.the delivery of the cylinder is delayed 3 weeks to say the least.moreover i do not get the money receipt when my cylinder is provided.

                              My consumer no. is 5045. I booked the gas on 1st sept 2010 from Manu Flames, Meenu Huts, XIX/658(1), Hill Road, Aluva. But as on 29th sept 2010 I haven't received the cylinder yet. When I contacted the concerned person he answered that I will get it last week.

                              My question is why there is such delay when in BLACK, people are geting it instantly by paying 500 rupees. and consumer has to suffer????

                              I request the concern authority of Indane gas agency to look into this matter and take necessary actions.

                                I am working professionals in a mnc in gurgaon.I Purchased new connection from Mata Sheetala Indane Gas Agency Gurgaon, they forcefully charged for the stove they denied giving new connection without paying for the new stove.Anyway i was compelled to take that one. After that I am running since one year for second cylender every time I have the same word from the employee of Mata Sheetala Indane Gas Agency come on this date that date they are repeating the same word over and again . Its really painful experience.I also called the head of indane office they give negative response every time. They don't take appropriate action.

                                Today, we are deliberating 59th years of republic of India (Independence Day), but the consumer of Indane Gas in Gurgaon are paralyzed with their fundamental rights of raffling of Gas Facility, on account of distributors staf[censored]nfair practice of system by systemizing the telephone booking un-operated and moreover not booking the cylinder with one or the other pretext and otherwise supplying the Gas Cylinder after 10-15 days , which resulting regular problems to the consumer, as the Gurgaon Gas Agency, it reflect had systemize their connection target above the Indian Guideline, moreover Gurgaon population increase of manifold also resulted and other cause of systemize/ obligating to the Hotel/ Restaurant Holder reflected heavy shortage.

                                How the Indian inspection and other staff of the Indane Company considering the public grievances, which shows that indane company staff are also obliging distributor in the networking of raffling systemize unfarir practice with hidden bargain exercise and to which might be the Distt.                                   My mother has a gas connection with additional cylinder too.Our distributors are Cooking Gas Agency, Tiruvanmiyur.
                                  As per the distributor we cannot book our 2nd cylinder before 22 days period after the supply of a cylinder.We are a family of 10 people and barely managing the supply with the help of a private gas agency supply.What is the procedure in Tamilnadu to book for the 2nd cylinder.Appreciate your reply

                                    I wish to put my grievances and the harassment received from the Indane dealer as given below:

                                    1. I am a user of Indane Gas from the last 1 year and I have taken the gas on production of ration card from Dixit Gas Services, Dedha Market, Khichipur, New Delhi -91, code no. 9107184.
                                    2. Presently, I have shifted my house from the previous place to New Kondli in Delhi and I have taken at transfer voucher vide no. 022214 dated 28/11/07 and applied for a connection with M/s Roop Gas Services, A- Block, New Kondli, Delhi- 96.
                                    3. As it is not possible to change the ration card immediately on the transfer of residence, due to this the dealer is not providing the Gas connection.
                                    4. As per the dealer, I have submitted an affidavit in respect of my new residence where I am presently staying. Still the agency is not willing to give the Gas connection and insisting for the electricity bill of the rented house for which my landlord is not willing to part with.
                                    5. In these circumstances even though having a genuine gas connection in my name, I am not able to get the same. The harassment cause by the agent by not providing the gas connection is driving me into madness and I am not able to cook properly and feed my family.

                                    It is requested kindly advice the dealer to provide me the Gas connection and I am committed to give any other documents which are in my preview to get the Gas connection.
                                    Your early action on my grievances will be highly appreciated.

Not only that after 30 days we booked the cylinder, we will get it after 10 days only. Therefore, I want to know that booking rules. Because in my house 6 family are there.                                     I am writing this mail after rigourous mental harassment. I am holding an Indane Gas consumer no. K-2501 (Kasna Indane Gas Agency, Greater Noida). I have following grievences after which I have realised that opting for Bio-gas or have an old "chula" is a better option.

                                    1. The landline numbers[protected],[protected] for requesting a gas booking never connects. I later realised that the person who is supposed to receive the calls deliberately puts these lines on hold.

                                    2. After umpteen tries, I you are luck enough to get these lines, the official would give you a possible date of next 2-weeks for delivery.

                                    3. I keep on living without LPG and rely on my room heater for basic food preparation, or sometimes I forcibly go to my relatives for this very reason. One fine day, the delivery man comes and delivers the cylinder. To my surprise, the cylinder never lasts for more than 15 days. (note: 20 days is the minimum time gap which these officials says between the two consecutive bookings). Also, we have a very small family of 2 adults and one child, so there is no question of execess usage.

                                    4. I have also found these delivery persons handing over the cylinders to unauthoised customers for few more bucks.

                                    I hope you will solve the problem and also you will make sure that there is no need to take the matter at higher authorities.
                                    i stay at hyderabad.i went to book my gas at Ennar gas at AS Rao Nagar. I think there the funda is ''You speak Telegu and Get the connection". this is because i went one day before my telegu friend could get the connection, that time they told that we dont have book from head office, come next week. Next day , when my telegu friend was give, i went immidietely next day. Again the same answer. this is why people prefer to work in thier own hometown . because of this regionalism , people bring in everywhere. shame on ennar gas agency.
                                    yesterday I went to Indane Gas Agency for renewal of my gas booklet. But I was shocked to see that they were forcing consumers to buy a gas pipe which costs 170/-. I was not agreed to buy this pipe because I renewed my gas pipe only few weeks back. I have been very aware of these things such as gas cylinder and its accessories.

                                    Now agency officials are not ready to book my gas even in this festive season, when a person needs it most. When I tried to contact to the customer care number, he doesn’t pick my phone. Even on land line number.

But till date we are unable to get the cylinder. The dealer are telling that they have already supplied the cylinder. My last booked was 02-04-08. I have requested them that as this connection is single cylinder, kindly deliver the same as priority basis. But they are refusing the same. Apart from this the delivery boy named 'Naval' his contact nr. is [protected], is continiousely saying that he went to my home and my home was absolutely closed, whereas I never kept my home closed, because my parents live with me and they never close the home. Today 11.04.2008, when i did a call to Agency one guy and a madam said to me that your cylinder has already been delivered at your home and they also said me that they will confirm this by sending their a person to my home after that i made a call to delivery boy 'Naval' he said me he has delivered the cylinder at another address after my neighbour request at Block-E in the same Ambedkar Nagar Sec-5, but the reality is that i do not know how he can do so, without asking my family person atleast he should make a call before doing so. The delivery boy Naval, also described the location of my home which was absolutely wrong, he told me, I have a sigle roof house whereas I have a house with four floors, now reality is that he never went my home.
                                    Now would i request you to please take an action against such people who are misguiding the customer by taking so my time in such stupid activity, we are in private job and don't have the much time for follow up, in this time course i have made calls to agency around 20-25 times, you can also check the MTNL data base.
                                    You are requested kindly clarify why this type of behaviour is showing by Indane dealer/delivery boy only ? Why you are not taking any action towards the dealers ?

                                    My Primary Complaint that I am a customer of Indane. My Consumer code is 10443 and it falls under Parul Gas Service, Burari, Delhi[protected], 27618873,[protected] .
                                    I have booked the gas through your online booking .
                                    But he said i donot received any number from online booking and till date it is not delivered i am facing a lots of probelem.
                                    My Secondary Complaint that None of their phones are attending by him . You need to visit every time to book a cylinder and the attitude of the guys sitting there is like they are doing a great favour booking your connection and are very rude. If this attitude continues, then the days are not far when IOCL has to close its shop in this world of competition. IOC officials are requested to give an ear to this complaint or lose the goodwill and business.

                                    The consumer in Delhi are facing lot of difficulty in getting the LPG cyclander. I am a residence of Mohan Garden, Uttam Nagar, new Delhi my consumer No. is RF-09428 and agency Raj Flame Gas AGency, Uttam Nagar.

                                    The Agency does not entertain booking of gas on telephone. Secondly, whenever, you go to the agency personally to book the gas there is a long queu and its takes a hour to book gas

                                    Even after booking the gas, the Gas Cylander is not delivered even in 10 days. Then you have to visit again and then they will supply the cyclander after 2-3 more days.

                                    The aggencies when the consumers hav raised objection such book in long queu have given a centralized booking no. 1260.

                                    But the last month i booked the gas through this number. But the agencies did't supplied gas saying that they have no booking.

                                    This month also, I booked the gas on 2.6.08 and the gas has not been supplied till 17th even after lapse of 15 days. Todays the 17th I personally went to the Agency they told that They have booking on 7.6.08 not on 2.6.08. Which is totally a lie. Even they have receoved my booking on 7.6.08 the Gas should be supplied till now.

                                    I would like to mention here that the gas cyclanders are available in the area in black @ Rs. 600-650.

                                    I, through the complaint board like to draw the attention of the concerned authorities to take necessary action against the Agency and ensure that the consumer are not suffer in this way.

                                    I have applied with Mata Sheetla Gas Agency for new Gas connection on 22/02/08 and furnished requisite documents required and also paid Rs.170/- for registration fee as was told by the people of that agency but after the lapse of 4 month, I have not been given new gas connection. On making inquiry the workers of the agency are repeatedly asking to enquire after 10-12 days . I have gone personally to the agency for about 15-20 time but the workers of the agency are making false pretext and saying that you will be called whenever your turn will come. I can't understand that when my turn will come and why the people of the agency are not giving me the connection while the new connections have been issued to those customers who have applied later than me. It seems that on my account and on my name some worker of the agency is blackmailing my cylendar.

                                    I hope that the needful would be done with all the consumers like me.

                                    KASNA Gas Agnecy Greater Noida charged Rs6500 for 2 Cylinders connection and they forcefully gave Gas Stove, if you say no to Gas Stove they will not give you connection. Cylinders recieved after booking are opened and they have less gas.

                                    This is the service KASNA gas agency giving to people, they are just looting, this has not happened to me but to all. i was standing in line and many of them were refused for connection because they were not ready to buy the stove.

                                    So if you pay for stove they will give you connection otherwise never, so you have to pay 3 times more than what my other friends have paid for gas connection in NOIDA.

                                    This is to bring in your notice(vigilance ofiice) that I have an indane gas connection and we have booked for refiling the cylinder on Tuesday 03rd Nov 09 at Kasna Gas Agency, Greator Noida. Despite or regular calling they kept on lingereing to deliver the cylinder.
                                    A person from same gas agency is refiling the cylinder outside vivek vihar & Kendriya vihar immediately for Rs 500/-. We have been told that there is no gas in the godown..

                                    Its is sheer neglegence of Indane gas co. to give lisence to such to let local people been harrased.

                                    Hope some action would be taken on the same.
