Indian Oil Corporation [IOC] — Cash payment too was insisted even after debit card payment. | |||
On 24.08.2020 at about 17.10 hrs, I filled petrol for Rs:1800/- from Devi Fuels, MK Building, Chengannur, Alappuzha, Kerala-689121. Payment was effected using my Federal bank Debit card, for which I received SMS confirmation (Attachment-1), but the lady at the station informed that the payment was not effected. So we went to the manager who just checked the machine and said the payment is not done and to prove that he took a print from the machine and the same is attached as 2. The manager never bothered to see his bank statement and demanded cash. So I paid Rs:1800/-as cash again and took bill for the same amount (attachment-3). In order to check any issue with the card, I made some other purchase without any issue. Pl. see the attached bank statement for reference. The petrol bunk is situated 15 KM from my residence and hence I try to contact them on the number provided in the bill. The mobile was not answered for dozens of try and land line was not at all connected. I request to get a speedy refund of money and steps may be taken to avoid such humiliating experience to customers in future. Was this information helpful? | |||
