[Resolved] Indian Overseas Bank — Amount of Rs 20999 deducted from my IOB Account but status of the transaction unknown

Horrible experience with my IOB account ending with 1987. Today I swiped my IOB atm card in HP world Chennai to buy a laptop worth Rs 44999 for amount of Rs 20999, Amount of Rs 20999 was successfully deducted from my account but there was no receipt generated for the transaction. It was a horrible experience worst ever with IOB atm card. I called the IOB customer care, rather than helping me to resolve the issue, customer care representative asked me to go to the branch. This is another horrible experience, if you ask me travel another 10 km to know the status of transaction, then why do we have the customer care. It is worthless having such customer care. Transaction details are below:

Finally after lot of followup and severe escalation with IOB Visa team amount was refunded to my iob account within 24 hours

Indian Overseas Bank customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
