I tried booking train ticket via IRCTC main website. I chose credit card for payment. The amount was deducted from bank and received a message for the same. However, IRCTC screen showed there was some issue. again i logged in to IRCTC to see the status, it showed status - payment pending from Bank.
I called up in the customer care of IRCTC, and told them the above scenario. They replied the amount would be refunded in 3 days.
Here is my appeal to IRCTC -
You cannot keep my hard earned money for 3 days. If there is any problem between your server and bank server, get it sorted asap. I as a customer/passenger, can't wait for 3 days to book another set of tickets as I don't have that much extra money. Our Prime minister talks about digital India, and here you see, you are unable to revert the transaction in seconds rather you would do it in days. And you feel proud in displaying this alert in your website. Why should I bother about your petty issues of server or your incapacity to handle technology? I want my money back asap.
