I booked a train ticket for aug 25, 2019 from chandigarh to delhi, in kalka shatabdi, train number 12012.
I got a confirmation of the train ticket with coach and seat number of c8, 12 for the date of aug 25, 2019. Pnr number is [protected].
I boarded the train, but someone was sitting on my seat with a confirmation for the same seat and her name was on the chart and not mine.
I called the customer care and the customer care executive confirmed that my travel date is aug 25, 2019 but the online pnr status was showing 26 aug, 2019 as traveling date.
Travelling ticket examiner gave me another ticket for rs 1440 though i showed him the confirmed ticket.
I have attached my booking confirmation, the online screenshot of pnr status and the ticket that tte gave me.
I travelled with the confirmed ticket in the correct train, still i had to pay for the new ticket and the penalty. I would like to have a refund of rs. 1440.
I have mailed irctc multiple times but not getting a reply. Following are the complain ticket numbers of my multiple emails: 4845063, 4852658, 4860648
