Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation [IRCTC] — incorrect amount refund for cancellations | |||
Dear sir. I booked a ticket in tqwl tatkal waiting n till the date of the journey my ticket didnt get confirmed n it was cancelled by indian railways. I paid 910/- and now i get an email from irctc that ill be refunded only 790. This is their email below. I want a full refund of rs 910-/- how can they deduct charges when it's not my fault. They should not allow in waiting in that case. "we wish to inform you that your ticket against pnr number: [protected] has been cancelled successfully. The refund amount of rs. 790 will be refunded back to your respective account shortly." Their customers helpline no 139 is also chargeable. They should have a toll-free number n it's does not get connected. Their customer service keep diverting u to contact others n they don't have any idea. Passing the parcel they keep playing. Till then the refund the short amount n don't help. Passengers lose n nobody helps to fight from their side. Kindly take up this matter or will need to go high up further.
