Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation [IRCTC] — Unnecessary deduction of Cancellation charge | |||||
Dear Sir I have booked PNR- [protected] on 25th May in Tatkal Quota. At the time of booking, status of ticket was available. During the completion of the transaction the status changed to waiting list and final number alloted was TQWL 67. On cancellation, Railway has deducted Rs 60/- as cancellation charge. How is this charge justified? Either the ticket should not have been booked in the first place or a warning should be given before the transaction take place. We request you to take this as a technical fault in the process which is amounting to unnecessary loss of money to constumers and un-justified income to railways (in Lacs maybe) Regards Was this information helpful? | |||||
