Indian Railway — refund in case of cancel of train

i booked a ticket through irctc connect mobile application.when i booked the ticket there was no such rule mentioned regarding if train canceled ticket should be canceled with in 72 hrs it should understood if train canceled ticket should automatically canceled because there was no other choice so its unfair they refuse to refund my money only because of i am not aware about the rule which i was not aware fzr intercity date of journey - 24-june-2015(train canceled ) pnr no. [protected], [protected] delhi to bathinda
