Indian Railways — careless | |||||
I was travelling from vadakara to chennai central in chennai mail (Train number - 12602, pnr number - [protected]) along with my four friends on 16/04/2018. Myself vinodkumar surabhi, i was sitting in s3 compartment on rac 31 side (Lower seat). Opposite to my seat, in lower birth (S3/25 & s3/26) - one aunty and 2 kids (Avanthika - 4.5 years, shreya - 11 years) were travelling along with me and my friends to chennai. Night around 10pm, aunty took his daughter shreya to bathroom. Unfortunately middle birth (S3/26) has been fallen down, avanthika was sleeping on lower birth (S3/25), she got injured badly on her head near eyebrows and some blood was coming on her head, we some passengers tried helping her. We spoke to ttr and captain on the train, captain told he will arrange for doctor in next stop (Erode), it will take 1 hour 30 minutes to reach erode. After 1hour 30 minutes, when we reach erode - doctor was late. Finally doctor came inside s3 compartment to help avanthika. The person who came to help was not looking like doctor, he was not in doctor uniform. Doctor didn't prescribed any medications/ointment to avanthika. Doctor didn't spent more than 5 minutes, moreover he was charged 100rs for visiting a kid (Avanthika) who was in danger in night time when travelling in train. She is a small girl, she was literally crying for more than 2 hours in train. This is not a simple thing, i was scared to the greater extent, it's a "life". I felt very bad, what if this incident happend to any of your relatives/ neighbours? Please take this complaint as very serious and do some actions to save further incidents like this.
