[Resolved] Indian Railways — Insufficient FOBs on KURLA station, Mumbai | |||
Dear Central Railway, I travel daily from nerul to Kurla via harbour line & Kurla to Dadar via central Line. In morning peak hours, Rush on FOBs in Kurla staion is deadly tremendous & it causes inconvenience to passengers mostly, ladies, elderly people, handicap person. Sometimes molestation of women takes place by some anti social men during this time. Often it causes fights between passengers. It takes almost 5-8 mins to cross one platform to oter via FOBs during such rush hour. So most people do prefer to cross the tracks which causes several accidents. There is urgently need to widen the FOBs and also required a new broad FOB like dadar station is currently having. KURLA is one of the main station on Central line in Mumbai. How Central Railway is not doing anything to control rush on FOBs?? Is Railway waiting for a major accident to take action? Please look into this matter asap. regards, A Daily commuter..
