Indian Railways — refund for unconfirmed ticket - pnr [protected] | |||
Dear team, With great regret & inconvenience, i bring to your notice the inappropriate behavior of the railway staff at haridwar jn. I, swami vishnu v. Anand (+1) had purchased the train ticket (As attached) from haridwar to mathura on 18478-kalinga utkal express (Pnr [protected]) for travel on 16 april 2018. I made a cash payment for the tickets at the booking window, and the ticket had a wait list status at the time of booking. At the time of boarding, the tickets were not confirmed and the tt did not allow us to board the train. Post this, we went at the booking window and asked for the refund of the tickets. We spoke to the senior railway officer at haridwar railway station but he had refused the refund for the ticket. I went to 4 railway officers but nobody listened to my request. I felt harassed because of their behavior and faced a lot of inconvenience. Hence i request you to look into this and expedite the process of refund at the earliest possible.
