[Resolved]  Indian Railways — strange but indian railway has no change since I was kid

Greetings to indian railways

It might sounds crazy but this problem is not getting recognised by anyone in indian railways and even by people. Passenger will just yell at other passengers who are in ticket queue about railway staff.

Today i'm travelling from tanuku to repalle. Change of train at "guntur".

The reason why i mention today is because i'm a frequent traveller.

I went to get ticket from counter which is on platform one.

Mr ravi kumar is busy in checking his phone and other staff member is busy in counting notes.. Since he's counting notes i went to him and checked with him if he got any change for 500 rupees he answered and questioned back with rude behaviour..

Fine i've to take that since i've choice. So i went to mr. Ravi kumar counter, he's very busy in checking his mobile phone.. Without checking cash box he said he don't have change for 500 my ticket price is 35rupess, staff said card machines are not working.

All the atms outside the station are out of cash, i walked all over the place at 2am to get 100rupees from atm. After 40mins of walking finally i got 100ruoess note from atm. When i came back to counter same person mr. Ravi kumar is doing same job checking is mobile phone. Are they appointed to serve people or enjoy themselves?

What if same thing happened to my sister/mother/wife next time they travel?

Is it safe for them to go out and get change?

Not just for women even for men is it safe?

I believe both gender should be treated equally. I also believe they get paid from us (Millions of people) they have to serve better than they were right now.

Why there is no change all 365days?

Not just this station every station i've been to since i'm was a kid. I heard / get same answer from railway staff.

I hope every railway station gets atleast one ticket machine with card and cash option with not just staff smart card.. Why are those machines out there are designed to be used with some smart card? Why not with cash and card option just like the one i tired to used in sc railway station which by the way is not working, it keeps sending every note back and not accepting cards.

Why do you invest in such waste equipment?
