[Resolved]  Indigo Airlines — baggage handling through indigo ground staff

This is sachin mehtani, traveled on dec 21st from kolkata delhi 6e224. Worst experience with indigo ground staff in handling luggage during chaos and eventually had my brand new luggage completely damaged from side. I purchased a day before and now it’s unrepairable. Photos attached to explain the intent. I could board the flight just 5 mins before estimated time of 21:45pm from kolkata. Pl get me the baggage cost covered as part of this grievance resolution.

With reference to your post, we are sorry for the inconvenience caused to you in this regard. Our endeavor has always been to deliver bag at the destination in good condition. We have gone ahead with our investigations with the concerned airport team and staff on duty and have established that no complaint was raised on arrival.

Further, as per our conditions of carriage, a customer who leaves the baggage delivery area without reporting a bag as missing or damaged to an IndiGo representative will be deemed to have received his/her bag correctly and in good condition. As there was no complaint raised on arrival regarding the same, we would not be in a position to initiate any repair or compensation process.

Nevertheless, we have shared this as feedback with the concerned airport team for further review and to ensure baggage delivery as per the standard practices.
