[Resolved] Indigo Airlines — did not allow to board flight | |
I had to board an indigo flight 6e-2808 for 30th oct 6.55pm which i was unnecessaryly blocked from boarding providing the reason that i reached on the 23rd minute. I have multiple times seen boarding starting even after 20th minute of flights scheduled time. We were told to leave the airport and book another flight. This is unacceptable and i want an answer to this. Attaching picture where boarding is starting before ten mins of flight time.

Verified Support Oct 31, 2018 IndiGo Customer Care's response Hi, We understand missing a flight could be upsetting. However, to ensure a pleasant experience for everyone, we have to follow certain protocols like closing the boarding gate before 25 mins of flight departure. Our staff has no reason to deny boarding to passengers who report on-time. Also, we advise our passengers to reach the airport 2 hrs prior to the scheduled departure to avoid any last min hassle. Sadly, the passenger had reported after the gate closure, hence we were unable to allow onboard. We look forward towards your understanding in this regard. Regards, IndiGo Team | |
