Dear sir,
This is to bring to your kind notice that 21st dec1-7 i travelled from kolkata to vizag (Via bhubaneshwar) on your air craft no: 6e-512 which was departed at 11.45 am from gate no: 19 from kolkata.
I was travelling along with my father who is 82 years old and undergoing treatment with regular medications.
While travelling, i had two cabin luggage’s (One black color american touriester stroller bag and another one was a green color duffle bag).
While boarding at gate number 19 my father was not feeling well and i was holding him and helping him for boarding on the air craft, observing that, one of the lady ground staff was very kind enough (???) and told me to keep my two luggage’s at the gate (19) and she told me that the luggage’s will be brought by them just after me. Once i entered the air craft and took my seat (11e & 11f), i requested the lady flight attendant to confirm me the loading of my luggage’s, they told me that once the staffs at gate number 19 have assured me that they will get the luggage’s that means they will definitely load it it in the cargo.
After landing at the bhubaneshwar again i checked with the flight attendant and they further confirmed me that the kolkata indigo staffs have confirmed them that luggages were loaded in the air craft which i will be receiving at vizag.
The flight landed at vizag on time and i was informed that i will get my luggage’s at baggage belt number 1.
Accordingly i went to the belt number one with my father and with my biggest surprise i didn’t get my luggage’s there. I had immediately reported the issue to indigo staff at vizag airport and done the pir (I have a snap of the copy).
I was told by the staff that they are co-coordinating with kolkata indigo and requested us to go to the place where i had planned to stay at vizag (Hotel novotel) and once they trace out the bags they will immediately inform me and they will also deliver those bags to hotel novotel.
The issue is, it’s now more than 48 hours and i am yet get any update regarding the status of bags.
I was given two number’s from vizag indigo for follow up ([protected] & [protected]) and names of two staffs of indigo one is mr manikandan and mr suresh. Unfortunately none of them is able to give me any update till now. Though they have promised me that they will update me in one hour or two hours, i am sorry to say that even after 33 hours (Last call i received at arroung 10.30 pm on 22nd dec-17) indigo doesn’t bother to give me a call and update me.
In fact in the last call indigo informed me that kolkata indigo staffs have confirmed that they didn’t found any luggages at gate number 19 at kolkata and also the lady staff (Who was on duty on 21st dec-17 during boarding in 6e-512) denied that she had requested me to drop the luggages at the gate number 19. This is really unbelievable.in fact my father was also with me and he also heard that the lady told us to drop the luggage at gate 19 and she also told that thise bags will be carried just after us in the aircraft.

As i mentioned, my father is 82 years old and a patient who consumes essential medicines for his well being and all those medicines are in one of those bag. The doctor prescription of appllo hospital which is also there in the bag. My father has spent 2 days without medicines and since the prescription is missing, i am unable to purchase those medicines at vizag. Due to this issue the health of my father is being deteriorating. Indigo airlines claims to be the number one airlines india and i am really surprised for not getting this service in 48 hours of time. You are failing to trace the bags till now.
Please note, due to no medication of my father if something wrong happens to him indigo has to take the entire responsibility.
I had almost rs 32, 000/- to rs 35, 000/- worth stuff’s in those two bags. If those bags not traced and returned to me indigo has to given compensation of the same amount and for that i will definitely send you legal notice.
If your staff of kolkata is now denying that she didn’t request me to drop my luggage’s at gate number 19, then i request to take out the video footage of gate number 19 on 21st dec-17 during the boarding at 6e-512.
I request you to do a proper investigation on this and get back to me with a feedback of status of the bags and way of returning the bag to me as soon as possible.
