Verified Support Sep 09, 2019 IndiGo Customer Care's response Hi, We understand missing a flight could be upsetting. However, to ensure a pleasant experience for everyone, we have to follow certain protocols like closing the boarding gate before 25 mins of flight departure. Sadly, you had reported at 1630 hrs for the scheduled to depart at 1650 hrs. Hence we were unable to allow you onboard. For your convenience, our airport team accommodated you on the next available flight, at the cost of only the fare difference and change fee which was accepted by you.
