[Resolved] Indigo Airlines — regarding charges extra 1500/- | |||
My Name is Bramh Kant tiwari, I am going to fly Delhi to Goa, Flight 6E - 399, i reached On check in counter for boarding pass on sharp 14.55, but they send me back side on counter no. 8, there lady was handle 2 customer that taken 5 mint i am saying my flight is on 15.40, please do favor, they pass the time and attend me on 3 pm and said as par norm you miss the flight, 45 mint before we closed the counter for boarding pass, i said its only 5 mint late 15.40 pm is flight time and now its 15.00 pm, please allowed, she not listen any things and taken 1500/ Extra charges for Next flight schedule on 18.55 pm, they way of business is very bad, this is not about 1500/ this and about time i was scheduled my meeting in Goa on 8 pm, its last journey from Indigo of mine Bramh Kant Tiwari [protected] Was this information helpful? | |||

Verified Support May 04, 2019 IndiGo Customer Care's response HI Bramh, We understand missing a flight could be distressful. However, to ensure a hassle-free experience for everyone, we have to follow certain protocols like closing the check-in counter before 45 mins of flight departure. Also, we advise our passengers to reach the airport 2 hrs prior to the scheduled departure to avoid any last min hassle Sadly, you had reported at 1508 for a flight scheduled to depart at 1540 hrs. Hence, we were unable to allow you onboard. Further, our airport team put you on the next available flight with minimum charges, which was accepted by you. We hope for your understanding.
