[Resolved] Indigo Airlines — unfair cancellation charges for a banned flight due to corona virus issue | |||
I just cancelled my trip and got the cancellation confirmations from indigo airlines that the cancellation charges are rs.1410/- (Pnr: enrlmx) and rs. 1388/- (Pnr: yfkk3f). Please clarify the following 1. Was my ticket a non-refundable one? 2. I was forced to cancel my outward trip on 30th march 2020 as all the flights have been barred by the government of india due to covid-19 (Corona virus) issue and, therefore, it is obvious that indigo airlines cannot operate that flight on 30th march 2020 and will have to cancel it (Although i am yet to receive any explicit notification from indigo airlines). Then it is unfair to deduct rs.1410/- for the bom-blr flight (6e 236 with pnr enrlmx). Thanks. Dr. Venkatachari parthasarathy Was this information helpful? | |||
