I have raised several complaint corresponding to my Indusind Account issue but not resolved since 4 months.
I need reversal of wrongly charged Rs.1180.00/- on my savings account.
I had tried to open a digital account through the Indusind online mobile website. There were a lot of Technical Issues during the procedure.
After I filled in my personal details & KYC verification was completed, I was redirected to the page where I had to select the Account Variant.
There I found about the Account options available but I could NOT SELECT the account variant on my own because the session was timed out & I could not complete the process.
After I refreshed the screen also, I could not go back to the account opening page or access the account variant options any more.
Immediately after this I contacted Indusind phone banking & spoke to a Support Executive.
He misguided me by giving wrong information that once my account gets activated I would be able to change the account variant & select a suitable Debit card.
So I waited for the next day & when my account got activated, I completed the fund transfer for initial balance to my account but there was no option to change the account variant.
Then I found that by default the Premium account variant got pre-selected for my account which I had Never selected in the first place.
Even I dropped an email to the Indusind mail id to stop my Debit card issuance process but that was not put into effect & I received the Premium Debit against my choice.
I contacted the phone banking channel several times to get my issue resolved but they could not help me in any way.
I even visited the branch physically & placed a request to change the Account variant & issue the Regular Debit Card for my account but still no action from their end.
When i contacted phonebanking again they are saying that account variant cant be changed when it was initially selected.
But my problem is that I NEVER selected this account variant but it got assigned to me by the bank back end team on its own due to some technical glitch.
I am quite discouraged to continue further with this banking facility due to the poor experience provided by the Support team & Banking Executives.
I explained the whole thing to an Indusind Banker over video call but he purposely disconnected my call without providing any resolution. This is the kind of customer experience they are providing to a Senior citizen.
