[Resolved]  IRB Infrastructure — double deduction of toll charges via cash as well as via fastag

I was travelling from Mumbai to Pune on 05-Jun-2019 via Express Way.
At Khalapur toll plaza, I have paid 230 Rs as toll charges for travelling up-to Pune. (Receipt Attached)
At Talegaon Toll plaza, I shown them receipt and after their scanning, barrior opened. When I reached at Pune, I received SMS as 138 Rs of toll is deducted from my Fastag. (SMS Snapshot attached)
If Toll Plaza will deduct such double charges then how consumer can trust on the Fastag System?
On the same day I had travelled from Gujrat to Pune but the incident only happend on Talegaon Toll Plaza.

I had raised a request to Axis Bank as it was the Fastag Issuance Bank to me. On 24-Jun-2019, I received call from ICICI Bank for reversal of double debit charges to my Issuance Bank in my Fastag Account. Now, I have received the refund. Thanks to all the entities for help.
IRB Infrastructure customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

We are in receipt of your email dtd: 18.06.2019 relating to double payment o[censored]ser fees through Cash and Fastag at Talegaon Toll Plaza on Mumbai Pune Expressway, registered under ‘Indian Consumer Complaints Forum’ portal.

At the outset, we sincerely apologize for inconvenience caused to you. We hereby inform that the matter has been investigated by us and clarify as under:

1. We have verified our accounts and confirm that we have received an additional amount of Rs.138/- and the same can be refunded.

2. It may be noted that details of valid Fastag on a vehicle is automatically captured while crossing toll plaza and accordingly payment is deducted. We do not have any role in inclusion or removal of Fastag data. In limited cases, due to technical issues tag is not verified immediately and the person at toll booth asks for cash payment.

3. You are requested to contact your Fastag issuing bank to raise a chargeback request for refund of this amount. The same shall be credited to your bank account.

Hi,

Location: Narol-Lambha road.
Pin: 382405
Last few days(~30) there are some of the transport vehical are park on the service road.
Due to this, higher chances of the accident.
In the evening time thier are parked their vehical on the road side.

Please do it needfull.
