[Resolved] IRB Infrastructure — double toll has been deducted | |||
I was traveling from Pune to Mumbai via expressway on 7th December 2019, At Talegoan toll booth, the toll guy says fast tag is not yet compulsory, so you need to pay in cash So pay the amount in cash i.e 230. After new hours I got an SMS from fasttag that the 173 amount is deducted from paytm wallet.SMS from fasttag: "Paid Rs. 173 for vehicle reg. no 'MZBEP813MKN021867' at Khalapur Toll Plaza on[protected]:37:07. For future reference toll txn Id: [protected]. " PFA the cash receipt. Below are the list of question: 1. If fastTag is enabled at toll booth then why IRB place such dumb guy at Tollbooth. 2. If I pay the cash amount then why the amount is debited from fast tag. 3. Why all fast tag board is removed from all the toll booth of expressway, it was there 2 month back. 4. I raised a complained at paytm but they are not responding from last 36hr. Was this information helpful? | |||

Verified Support Dec 13, 2019 IRB Infrastructure Customer Care's response Dear Sir, We are in receipt of your email dated 10/12/2019, In this regard, would like to inform as under 1. Pursuant to expiry of concession period for Mumbai-Pune Expressway, we have already handed over project to MSRDC on 10/8/2019. The incident forwarded to us is subsequent to our handing over of project to MSRDC and therefore we express our inability to comment on same. 2. You are requested to take the matter with MSRDC and/or concerned Toll Plaza Operator. Thanking you and assuring of our best services at all times.
