[Resolved] Irctc — Non-reversal of failed transaction by irctc | |
I tried to book a ticket worth rs. 5723.60 from irctc on 28.12.2020 with my irctc id: anuragmishra12. I had to make 4 attempts with ticket getting booked in the fourth attempt and previous 3 transactions getting failed. In all the four attempts the amount worth rs. 5723.60 got debited ( total debits rs. 5723*4= 22892). While in one transaction the ticket was booked, for three others the transaction was failed. While I have received refund in 2 of these 3 cases, I havent received refund in the fourth case the irctc transaction id for this disputed transaction: [protected]. My bank says that it has settled this fund with irctc's bank, while irctc says that it has not received any payment authorization from my bank for this transaction. Also my bank had initiated chargeback for this transaction with irctc's bank which was rejected by the later stating "goods/service delivered". How can this be possible when the transaction was failed and the ticket was not booked. I have written several complaints to irctc customer care at [protected]@irctc.co.in but they have bewn giving same response that they didnt receive any payment for this transaction. Kindly investigate the issue on your part as i think that there happened some technical glitch at irctc's end or irctc's bank end, and get my refund worth rs. 5723.60 credited to my account. I have been stressed for over a month now and have tried all alternatives for resolution of this grievance. Was this information helpful? | |
