Irctc — Online ticket booking process for general people | |||||
I booked a ticket today at irctc site and was amazed by the way the booking is done. Booked a ticket in kolkata rajdhani (12302) for my parents, father is senior citizen and mother is near to that age, but got two upper berth tickets in spite of selecting at least 1 lower berth. There were 137 seats available, if i go via an agent paying extra money, we easily get lower berth tickets, but if we do the booking i do not know how the allocation works, do not get lb tickets. I think ir should get their priorities right and rectify the ticket allocation process instead of asking aged ailing people to get up upper berths. Was this information helpful? | |||||
