Irda — nri is asked to produce aadhar card at maturity claim of lic

I am an nri & can't attach copy of aadhar while applying for maturity claim of lic at unit no 115. As per uiadi orders clarified ln
The times of india dated 18/11/2017 aadhar can not be asked from nri. Kindly send instructions to this lic branch no 115 at n 72 canaught place delhi as they say we have no instructions from irda.
