[Resolved] Ixigo — booked a ticket from the app, not refunding | |||||
Pathetic app to book tickets. I have booked a ticket from ixigo where i have made mistake while booking. I unfortunately selected a wrong date not intentionally(made mistake with day, supposed to be on 3rd of may 2018 but wrongly seleted 26th april 2018 which coincedentally share the same day i. e thursday ) and got to know it after i saw the ticket. Immediately(within 15 minutes of booking) i called the ixigo customer care to reschedule that. But they didnt borther about the grievience and said they cant help on that. After which i called the jet airways customer care in which they said they could have helped me had i booked the ticket from their app. Jet airways said that in such cases they refund 100pcnt within 24hrs. Hearing that i again called the ixigo customee care again they now not only botgered but also misbehaved with me. Verh dissappointed to use the app. I lost rs 3500. Asking all not to install the app. Sharing ticket copy for the authentication. Was this information helpful? | |||||

However, we wish to inform you that ixigo doesn't charge any fee for booking or cancellation/rescheduling. Our service is absolutely free. We help you compare fares across multiple travel portals and your payment takes place on the portal selected by you. You can also check the merchant name in your bank statement. The cancellation charges are levied by the airline & your service provider. We also wish to inform you that we don't have a call center however, we are always reachable at FEEDBACK AT iXIGO DOT COM. That said, we checked with your service provider Cleartrip & Jet Airways but they have informed that airline penalty will be applicable if booking is cancelled or rescheduled. We're really sorry but unfortunately, we can't do much here & seek your understanding in this regard. Account balance deducted not refunded yesterday i booked train ticket trough ixigo train online application they deducted balance and not conformed ticket.
