Jeep India — Worst Service & Harassment from Jeep Authorised Dealer SKY Motors Pune

Dear Team,

We wish to bring to your notice about the worst experience and harassment as a customer we faced during our servicing of Jeep Compass Car. We had opted for servicing of our car for paid servicing at 60, 000 KM at Sky Motors, Akurdi, Pune on 11 June 2021. Few indicators were flashing on dashboard so was in need of Servicing. Service team said it’s a case of Rat bite, so the car was sent to Body Shop for insurance claim. Its been more than 40 days the car is with Sky Motors Body Shop team without any prompt feedback from Sky Motors end nor any kind of follow up. I have been calling multiple times to address the issue.

I want to raise few points that seem highly critical for me and need a valid explanation from Jeep Company side for the same.

1. For more than 40 days there were no updates from Sky Motors end and no active response. No line of action was communicated and no updates were shared for delays.
2. When such a delays were happening, why were the parts not ordered in Vehicle off Road (VOR )?
3. Four sensors were replaced, out of which only 2 have been claimed under Insurance with reason of Rat bite and 2 sensors in paid service without any customer approval. On what base has this happened? When we asked TATA AIG Insurance Surveyor Mr. Johnson (+91 [protected]) why all sensors are not covered in insurance he said only two were damaged. Then why other two sensors are changed in paid basis without customer approval?
4. Most important when the car was handed over on 11 June 2021, the battery was in good and working condition and no battery issue was raised by the Service person. And now after 40days when car is supposed to be delivered Sky Motor Body Shop team is saying battery needs to be replaced? When we asked for Battery need to be replace report when vehicle was with Service Team no reply was received. Why wasn’t the battery issue raised on the first day itself? OR are these add ons on added just like that for the sake of it.
5. Interior cleaning as mentioned in the invoice as WUERTH CLEANING charges have been added without customer approval. Are these cleaning services are mandatory or Dealer is having authority to do it without customer approval on chargeable basis ?
6. After 40 days when we called for Car delivery both the head lights have fog in them and shock absorber of boot door is hampered (not working properly) which was also in good condition when vehicle reported workshop . This indicates that the vehicle was kept in open condition in this monsoon weather or the car has been used roughly or in poor condition in these 40 days.

We have not taken the delivery of the vehicle in this case. We were not even provided with Jeep compass co-ordinator contact details. Even no Jeep Customer Service Persons numbers are displayed in Customer Waiting Room.
Please take immediate necessary action and do the needful .
We have already had nightmare experience and do no wish to further see bad service to loose trust in a reputed brand like Jeep.
This unexpectful poor performance for servicing has lead to doubtful faith in the brand.
