Jet Airways — flight delay/missing of connecting flight

Pnr: ajstcu.
Flt 9w627, goa-mumbai, on 09 feb 2018 delayed boarding by 1 hr. (Reason given - incoming flight from bom delayed). After boarding, passengers were made to sit in the aircraft on ground for another 2 hrs. For which, no announcements or reasons were cited, until one passenger demanded for it. So initially it was announced that the runway was being used by the navy, then it was a technical problem and then completion of paper work.
Finally the 2:35pm flt departed at 5:35pm and arrived bom at 7:35 pm resulting missing my connecting flt 9w544 to dubai (Although every time the 9w staff on board kept assuring that i would be put on the 9w544 flt. At 7:25pm)
At bom airport, the check-in staff was neither apologetic nor helpful for the ordeal we had gone through. Since all the passengers who had missed their connections crowded at the check-in counter, she insisted we queue up. Now, there were only 3 seats remaining on the next flt. Since i was first in the queue, i should have rightfully got a seat on the 8:55pm flt. (Which was apparently again delayed for more than an hour). But to my utter disappointment she gave all 3 seats to a family much behind in the queue as they were accompanying an elderly lady (Although she was even told by the family that one of them could travel on a later flt.in which case i could have got on the 8:55 flt). I made a noise at the check-in counter that the staff was being very unfair to other passengers who had queued up and i also suggested putting us on business class, she bluntly said that the flight is full and she had already put her "own passengers" in business class. She gave me a seat for the next day on 9w58 edt 1:40am, which was again delayed and it landed dubai around 5:20 am.
I was totally stressed out and lost a day at work too (I had informed your check-in staff that i had to report to work the next day). While there were many cheaper options on other airlines, my criteria for booking 9w, was the shortest connecting time, which 9w couldn't maintain. This is not the first and the only case, because i found through fellow passengers that such delays have been very common with 9w.
"time is money" and such long delays cause us loss of valuable time and money besides fatigue, mental stress and health issues.
I request a thorough investigation in this matter and a favourable compensation in order to regain my trust and confidence in jet airways.
