On 9 March 2015 I was issued a boarding pass at 10.45 am for the flight No.9W0815W at 11.20am.There was a huge crowd for the security check and I managed to reach just in time for the flight.At the Gate No.37B I was informed that boarding gate closed 25 minutes before departure ie at 10.55am.So iwas not allowed to fly.I was left unattended by the officials and could not get a ticket to fly to attend a business meeting at Bangalore.Later, in the night I flew to Cochin with an Air India Ticket at the cost of Rs.13100/- I would like to bring to your notice that once the boarding pass is issued to passengers the officers at the gate should have the minimum responsibility to ascertain about that from the issuing officials and enquire for the passenger and wait for the passenger for a reasonable time of at least 10 minutes.
