Jet Airways — Prolonged delay and forcing customer to make their own hotel booking and food arrangments | |||
My flight was fromBangalore to Canada (via Delhi and Brussels) 13 June 2015 in Jet airways. First starting from Bangalore the flight was delayed by 5 hrs. The crew said that the Pilot was stuck in traffic and they made us to sit in Aircraft for 2 hrs without Pilot. The staff in Bangalore told us that the flight from Delhi to Belgium will also be delayed. Then in Delhi when we land and had a connecting flight, no staff was available to escort us to the next terminal and the next flight was already taken off before we could land. after so many argument with staff they booked me another flight after 12 hrs. the new flight was from London with stay over 15 hrs in London. for my delay of 12 hrs in Delhi they did not provided me with just one meal coupon. When i land in London, i was shocked to see that no arrangement was done for any passenger. we have been asked by airport staff to go to terminal 3 and stay there over night. in terminal 3, almost every major flight has information booth and a lounge for overnight stay except for Jet airways. Then i have to book a hotel for myself (120 Pound) and spend my own money for food. Had a worst experience with jet airways, the staff is tricky and try to deceive you (specially operation Manager Amit in Delhi), i had to spend close 20000 rupees by myself because of airline delays Was this information helpful? | |||
