Pathetic Service AGAIN...at Kalyani Motors Service Center, BelakahalliBannerghatta Road Bangalore.
Firstly my Swift VDI car service was booked on 04/Feb/2022Friday, they took the vehicle around 7:45 AM and delivered at 9:30 PM and I was billed for 12.5K for the car service.
1. I was billed un-necessarily on the bulb which was still working good even the morning they took the car for service. (ok at this point, let's says it was actually not working).
2. Service adviser did not inspect the vehicle properly. (Agreed that Human error happens)
3. Left ACvent – adjuster (AC direction adjuster) was not working and this was not inspected during Service.
4. No proper Cleaning.
The Reason I’m escalating this concern starts from below.
a. Today 05/Feb/2022 Saturday, I noticed that onRight Back Tail light (Break Light) was not working.
b. I called the adviser around 12:50PM and informedabout the issue and I checked for availability and he asked me to drop into check the Bulb and AC vent issue.
c.I reached the service center around 1 PM – 1:10PMand they replaced the brake light bulb.
d. For AC vent adjuster check he (adviser) informedthat it's Lunch hour now. So I was ok with it and gave him time.
e. HenceI went and came back to service center againaround 2:30PM. From 2:30PM they tried to fix the AC vent adjuster with availablepersons (3-4 Person came and tried) as there was no dedicated Technician available (whoworks on Dashboard) (They mentioned there is only 1 person and he is intraining).
MISTAKE1: The service advice must havechecked the Technician's availability and informed me in advance so that I couldhave come back another day.
MISTAKE2: The persons who attempted to fixthe AC adjuster does not know how to remove the dashboard and put it backproperly. Only 1 person had some knowledge on it, so he did the most of thep art in fixing the issue. So this resulted in some marks on the dashboard and also they broke the Dashboard clip and put glue and fixed it.
f. Finally around 4:30PM they somehow managed toadjust and fix the issue. So I came back home around 5:30PM and found the ACvent adjusted again not working. So all the time I spent was a total waste.
g. So this is how they work in the service center andthey expect us to TRUST in them...
Adding to point 4: No proper clearing – not just outside, I expect it to be cleaned even inside.
Example1: when changing AC filter they remove the Dashboardbox but they don’t dust the place. Simply remove put the new filter and close it off.
Example2: when changing the bulb Why were the part surrounding not cleaned/dusting – Because they are not visible to the eyes directly?
Example3: My car battery was faulty and it had some fungal things (white discharges) around and it was not cleaned as well.
Service is Just NOT DOING THINGS on visible parts to our eyes (just rub polish everywhere). I as a consumer/Customer expect to clean things properly all around when it is removed for a certain issue. (Clean internal parts as well on inspection ).
Please Note: I'm not expecting to clean every nut and bolt but to clean when they work on certain parts of the car.
FeedBack: Try to increase customer satisfaction and not the bill (Money)...
Advice: Focus on Customer satisfaction and Revenu will automatically follow...
