[Resolved] Karvy — no separate counter for senior citizens and disabled

Utterly contemptible aadhar process for elderly at karvy aadhaar centre at banjara hills. I took my mother and father aged 73 and 80 yrs. My mother was in wheelchair recovering from hip operation. They dont have seperate counter for elderly and disabled. I was running from pillar to post for 2 hours asking prople about the process. Completely callous service from karvy personnel. Other enrollees were more understanding than karvy staff. They have provided a wheelchair but no other help that was really required. Shameful treatment of elderly. They also collected 50rs at token counter providing no receipt.

We visited on Monday 31st July and there was no seperate counter. Inspite of repeatedly appealing to the supervisor, there was no seperate process and I had to do the normal process. It was only due to the understanding of fellow enrollees, that I could find out the process and crash the queue and finish the documentation process in one and half hour. After which the biometrics we were somewhat helped out by the karvy staff. The purpose of my complaint is to ensure that no other elderly and disabled person suffers in the same way. There should be a single seperate counter for the elderly, disabled and distressed - where the documents are verified, stamped, token issued and biometrics done. Also, there should be a board put up of the entire process and documents required.
