[Resolved] Karvy — non receipt of redemption money | |
I have been trying unsuccessfully to get my money back for redemption of IDBI bonds. An amount of Rs 35, 659 was promised to me although the face value was Rs 2 lacs. Below is the email trail between myself and Karvy Share. Each time, a standard reply is sent back to me and they are refusing to trace the funds they say they have paid into my Indian account, but I haven't received the same. I get this feeling that they do not want to pay even the reduced amount, and are giving me the run around. All this leads me to conclude that you havent paid the money in and have no intention of doing so by giving me this run around. I shall seek suitable redress on this from higher levels. In the bond it was clearly mention the investor and bank has right to close the bond. The both has equal right on the bond. Now, present redemption value including interest ( i.e savings bank interest only) will be around Rs. 18000/- plus per each bond. Kindly check from your side. Verified Support Jun 13, 2018 Karvy Customer Care's response Dear Sir/Madam, With reference to the above compliant, we wish to inform you that The payment process of Rs. 35, 659/- was made through NEFT to Ramesh Srirangam account on 23.03.2018 but the same got returned with the remark “ Credit to NRI A/c”. Again NEFT was done on 27.03.2018 but it got returned again Account mismatch. Kindly provide the Cancelled cheque with NRO Account to make the payment. Regards Team Karvy | |
