[Resolved] Kaya Skin Clinic — skin burn in laser treatment | |||
Hi kaya team I am extremely baffled to note that there are so many complaints against kaya. I wish i had checked on all this before i enrolled for the laser sessions there. Let me elaborate on my experience- I went to get service for arms laser and the reception kept goading me to take on an additional laser package. They constantly asked me to couple with another body part to avail the 50% discount. Inspite of me refusing, they were very pushy - which was very obvious that they were looking to meet their targets. I asked for laser for my nape my neck and they promised me a beautiful nape - i agreed and paid the entire amount upfront along with half legs On the scheduled day, the team at kaya indiranagar, bangalore seemed skeptical about my neck laser. Anyways they did proceed and in the process burnt my neck -5th/nov /2017. The next day i went to show the burn as it was swelled up and it was burning . I was given tablets and gel and asked to avoid washing my hair for a couple of days. 3 days later visited the clinic again and wanted advise if i could get a hair wash - the doctors were missing and i was promised that they woudl get back to me. On the 11th/nov, went back to the clinic and was baffled as one of the doctors informed that the reception had the duty to brief me that of teh risk involved and one of them could be possible burn. Why woudl i accept a package where i can get burnt??? I do not get it why kaya cannot brief their clients of the risks before they greedily accept people's cheques. My husband who was accompanying me demanded a letter of apology from kaya. Also i was informed that the mark on my leg would take 4-5 months to heal - sure they left their mark on me. This is from where everything started spiraling down - responsibility was not being taken from kaya. Indiranagar was passing on the responsibility to bombay and people involved there. I would get a call only if i threatened and and its one month now.. I have not got a favorable solution. Some person from bombay has called me to tell me that 1. Letter of apology is not possible 2. And this the best - i told concerned people in kaya that i want nothing to do with kaya and i want to be compensated back for all the services that i have enrolled there which have still to be completed - which include - Package 1-half arms and underarms and package 2-half legs and nape The response i got (Hilarious) 1. Kaya will compensate for the unconsumed package of the neck (Ofcourse other than regretting the inconvenience) they want to charge me for burning my neck 2. For balance part, they can only give me a voucher which i can gift somebody.. Why the hell would i want to spend my money and gift it to somebody so that they can be burnt too. Does that not mean that i have to spend once again to avail the laser service from elsewhere. Are these people into beauty service or cheating services. I am still to hear from the bombay team which i presume is the head office. I am not going to recommend kaya to anyone and particular for their poor quality of customer service and pathetic solutions I woudl be keen to hear from kaya after officially lodging this complaint on their site as to what and how they are going to come back to me. I deserve to be compensated in full or i would be forced to take unpleasant steps Was this information helpful? | |||
