[Resolved] Kent RO — Filters and Membranes damaged within 3 months | |||
I purchased Kent Prime Mineral RO on 13.07.2019 and after 1 year o[censored]sage, the LCD was showing low RO Flow and I lodged a complaint in KENT RO App on 28.08.2020 and on 29.08.2020, an engineer from Sapna Marketing (Jabalpur) Mr Munit Dubey came to inspect and he told that the sediment filter, FRT and Membrane needs to be changed and he charged Rs 3750 for the same. I paid the amount and the problem was resolved. On 28.11.2020, the same problem ocurred again and I lodged a complaint again in Kent RO App on 29.11. 2020. This time another engineer from a different service center came for inspection and he told that the parts that were replaced three months back need to be replaced again. I was shocked to learn this as I purchased KenT RO after getting lot of positive reviews from my friends and colleagues. I told him that these products were replaced three months back and are still under warranty but he told me that he could replace them only on payment basis and if warranty is to be claimed the service engineer who changed them needs to be communicated. I called Mr Munit Dubey and he told that no need to worry Sir, I would come and resolve the problem. But from next day onwards, he stopped taking my calls. I called him over 20 times but he never responded. Later I understood that it i the policy of the Service center to harass the customers in this way. I was clueless what to do. I lodged complaint again and this time another engineer from Sapna marketing came today (Mr. Kori). He told me the same thing that I need to pay Rs 3000/- for the same. I narrated him the entire story but he told me I am just a worker and I can do nothing. a lady from Sapna marketing called me to tell that your warranty is over by 4 days and we could do nothing. She also told me that there is no warranty on spare parts such as sediment filter, membranes, etc from KENT but they provide warranty for customer retention. Really, I was clueless after this whole incident. If I need to pay Rs[protected]/- after every 3 months, it is better to purchase another new one. Such kind of service from KENT is really unexpected and such kind of business strategy from the authorized service centers is really disgraceful. I don't know waht to do. Please help.
