I ordered a rachel ray cucina hard porcelain enamel 12pc cookware set for $5:24 0 for shipping. I ordered 4 sets. They had me enter my email, set up a password and gave me an order id # 165347 total was $20:94. I was so happy for about a minute, thinking i had just got a great deal for my daughter and daughter in law for next christmas. Then googled kitchen. Lovebaking.com. The page was no longer available. So i checked my account,
Fee of $97:76 was billed to my debit card. The only information i was able to obtain was that it came across my account as aip*lajicngkj sh cn. When i contacted my financial institution they said it was from singapore china with no address contact information or phone number and that i should deactivate card so they couldn't try and hit my card again possibly 3 more times or more. Which i did i i filed a form for fraud. But because it was a debit it is doubtful will see that money again nor my pots and pans.. I am on a very fixed income and only wanted to do something nice for my kids for next christmas. I contacted facebook and rachel ray hopefully they will not allow people like this to advertise without verifying they are actually credible. I do have learned i am now one of the elder people who was conned! Although this is embarrassing i don't want this to happen to anyone else. No groceries this month! Was this information helpful? |
