[Resolved]  Koramangala Police Station — Complaint given for theft FIR received for missing phone

After two phones being stolen from me I gave complaint of theft at Koramangala police station The police man refused to write it as theft and registered it only as missing - and convinced me at that time that insurance claim would not be affected. Both claims were rejected. Just to keep their cases left unsolved number lower they don't take theft complaints This is untruthful and causes greater economic loss for complainant
