Kotak Mahindra Bank — credit card balance | |||
My credit card number is [protected]. I had made 3 payments in the last 2 months time amounting rs. 5000/. Rs. 10, 000/- and again rs. 5, 000/-. I had spoken the toll free number and validated the stated payment as well. One mr. Vivek from mumbai had attended our call and confirmed receipt of the above payment. But for the past 10 days i have been getting atleast about 10 calls each day from the collection centre stating that i had not made payments against my credit card. Besides i had also received an sms on 16th of april stating that i have utlilised about 90% of my credit limit. But the same day i once again called the toll free number and got a confirmation from them that i have the made stated payments and i have a balance of about 194000 against my eligibility. Besides mr. Vivek also stated that the sms and the calls from collection dept had happened by mistake and the same would be rectified. However, again i am keeping on getting calls stating that i have not made credit card payment. This day i received a call from no.[protected] from one ms. Karthika, stating that she is calling from kotak - kandanchavadi branch stating that i had not made the payments. I told her that this the 100th call i am receiving and i am disturbed with such repeated calls, when i had already made the payment. Ms. Karthika was asking me for payment details. I told her that i had made three payments recently, one or two by cash and one or two by cheque. But confirmed that i had made the payment. Ms. Karthika stated that if i donot remember the mode of payment i have made, how would she know if payment has been made. This statement of her to a customer is really disturbing. When a bank cannot have a proper track of payments made by the customer (That too when the payment is being confirmed when i called toll free number, but the local credit card unit does not have track) in their system properly but disturbing the customer making so many calls, i am at loss to understand the audocity of ms. Karthika making a statement that if i dont remember the payment modus how does i expect bank to have records. Such repeated calls despite making the payments promptly is really a matter of concern. Trust you would initiate action to control such mannerisms from your telecalling employees and also provide proper payment datas to them so as to avoid disturbance to customer Was this information helpful? | |||
