Kotak Mahindra Bank — credit card payment harassment | |||
Hello, i had salary account with kotak bank and they offered me a credit card. It is true that i used the card when needed and it helped. But i lost my job and i am waiting for my full and final settlemnt from the company i worked. I am broke and literally in no position to pay bills. Its been over a motnh since my due date passed thats on april 10th. I recently joined a new company and i am waiting for my 1st salary due this month end. I requested the credit card recovery team to wait until the end of this month so that i can pay the dues. But i am tortured every day for the payment due. Every morning a recovery agent visits my home at around 7 am and troubles for the payment. I work in night shifts so i sleep in the day time. Today i had 20 missed calls from the agent and he warns me that he would send an agent tomorrow morning and if i failed to make he payment by 12:00 the agent would sit in front of my house until i make the payment. He says that he would let everyone around know about this. I understand i failed to make the payment on time. But its only the circumstances that led to this. I am being forced here. Its creating a lot of tension and stress at my workplace. Dont i have the right to privacy here. I requested them a lot to wait until the end of this month. Still they dont behave appropriately.
