Kotak Mahindra Bank — kotak mahindra bank is demanding unnecessary amount for closing my account. | |||
Hi, My first company opened my salary bank account in kotak mahindra bank in aug, 2017. But after 9 months i leaved this company and switched my job to another company. As i lived very far away from my kotak bank branch i sent a mail to them 3 times regarding closing of my bank account and from last more than 1.6 years i am not using my this salary account. After recieving so many mails from bank. I called there customer care of kotak mahindra. They said me that "although ur account is in inactive status but i[censored] want to close your account please submit the rs.7, 921 fine for not keeping minimum balance in account for last more than 1 year". So, it is totally unfair with me (Your bank account holder) if i has to pay u that unnecessary amount to your bank only because your bank does not close my account. If i had already informed you on mail regarding closure of his bank account and was not able come at your branch because i lives very away from your branch location and then it is clear that kotak bank is trying to loot me properly. If your bank trying to do like this then nobody in our family and society will not open any bank account in kotak mahindra in future. Also i suggest you all those who are reading this post dont open any bank account from kotak mahindra. Thanks Was this information helpful? | |||
