Hi

Myself and my brother are regular commutor in KPN bus from Theni to Bangalore for the past 5 Yrs, once in a week.

We are travelling in VOLVO bus. Past 3 weeks without any notice the bus is changed to 42 seater with out leg rests and cramped space. I can not sleep in these buses. I feel even the SETC buses has much bigger space for seats and much more comfortable. When checked with the agent, he told that hereafter the same kind of buses will be there for Theni - Bangalore.

The bus which I boarded two weeks back (13-Jun-2010); the driver is so rude, and he switched off the AC when the Bus stopped for food in Batlagundu, and around 2 PM/3PM and so many times in between the travel. Passengers got suffocation and when contacted driver he switched the AC on for some time, and once every body is asleep, he again switched off (Hell.... I did not get sleep at all on that day). (Think how I had attended office the next day....!)

For KPN Travels:

Please note that we are using KPN because of to get comfort, comfort and only comfort. We are ready to pay more also, in that case.....

I had already stopped my bookings in KPN travels, and started using ABT travels from next month....

In case, these issues are not taken care, KPN is going to lose several customers. (May be they wont worry if two or three regular travellers goes off ... who knows ... )

Travelling in ABT my experience:
I had travelled to BLR from CBE. It was wonderful with bus full of bed bugs. No one slept in bus. Everyone was busy itching. Keep it up guys u ar rocking with ur bed bugs farm. We pay money and donate blood.

    on 22 may 2010 i booked a ticket from coimbatore to chennai through kpn travels with a huge hope that my travel would be much comfortable. I reported 20 min before the commencement of the travel and i was told to wait. I waited till 8 pm [ boarding time ] and still the bus didn't come. After 5 min the bus arrived and we got in. [ It was 8.10 ] late of 10 min.
    Unfortunately I was given the last seat. the semi sleeper seat had no adjustments for push back, no adjustment lever for leg rest . When i reported to the official, he simply replied , bear that and nothing can be done. I stressed again and the driver came to see and said it is like that adjust.
    The bus started at 8.25 [ late of 25 min]. It was such a rude reply and reponse from the kpn driver .
    The driving was such that the passengers ofen jumped off their seat . the suspension was worst and no maintenance was made. another reason is the driver he never slowed down the vehicle when there were bumps and craters in the road.
    I was not able to sleep even for 5 min .
    after 3 hours of travel i noticed that the bus was standing in the middle of the road for more than 10 min. I thought it might be a traffic jam. when i peeped out i was shocked to see that our bus and an govt. bus in the opp side was soooooooo close that a major accident
    was avoided. Such a reckless driving.
    In short, lack of punctuality, poor maintenance, impolite behaviour of the driver,reckless driving, poor customer care were the specalities of that particular bus. all these are genuine experiences of mine.

    The bus ( number - KA 13 c1) from Karaikal to Bangalore has broken-down today (29th Dec 10) morning near Uthangarai @ 3:45 AM.
    I contacted salem office @ 4:45 AM in the number[protected]. The person at the office was least worried about the problem and not giving proper response. He kept my phone on-hold and was talking to someone on personal things for 5 mins and then disconnected my call. He was not ready to listen to me fully.

    We heard that there is a bus started from Bangalore @ 4:30 AM to pick us. We waited there from 3:45 AM till 8:00 AM with kids and ladies. Later we managed to get a taxi and reached Bangalore.
    We understand that such brake-downs are unavoidable to some extent, but a proper communication and guidance from the costumer-care would have helped us to take early decisions.

      Two days back we travelled from Dindugal to chennai thru KPN A/C sleeper.The AC was not working throughout the journey.All the passengers shouted at the driver and cleaner when the bus started at Dindugal after 10min. They said they will solve the problem when they reach trichy but didnt do that.They didnt even refund the money as it was non-AC.

      They ask us to keep even the larger luggages in our berth

      Moreover the drivers dont stop in the busstand n they r very harsh to the passengers.We suffered with our 1.5yr old baby throughout the journey.Horrible.............Someone should help take action against these people.

      I was traveling from Velankanni to Bangalore in KPN bus. There was only one driver with no substitute or cleaner of help. The response given by the Driver for each and every doubts and questions were very rude and harsh. Our journey started by six and by three there was a halt some lonely place near Krishnagiri. All were in deep sleep and my hubby went to enquire the driver and the driver was rude as usual. We kept calling the phone numbers given at the back of the bills and ended up listening blanks tones. The worst case was we were waiting till five and got another bus. We were made to sit in the path of the bus. The bus was slow due increase in load. Its the worst travel i've ever had. Lot of questions are running in my mind. Why are customers treated like this?, Are we using their service free of cost?, Why is that no one taking the responsibility when an issue arises? Why are the customers so dumb and interested in sleeping when their reach time is delayed for three hours. My lst question is, Is there any one who could follow up the thread and show their acceptance for this incident.

        World First and one and only bus service Where I (frequent traveler for past 10 year) heard.

        "We are having enough ticket and I am not interested to ticket you"

        All because of their fking ticketing system flaw on booking return ticket. It made "Virudhunagar-KPN" to lose Rs. 47.50.

        After asking HQ KPN office and so on, what I got is treated like "beggar" and been asked to take ticket without paying anything.

        I really doubt why they have "Quality Service is our Motto".....

        And look like i been traveled on deep for these years....

        REDECULOUS SERVICE BY CANCELLING BUSES WITH OUT INFORMATION AND INFORMING AFTER WAITAING FOR HOURS AT KPN TRAVELS OFFICE AFTER DEPATURE TIME

        Abusive, Rude staff

        Went to book tickets in KPN Travels, Nagercoil. The staffs in there are rude, unresponsive and mighty slow to respond. Would take an eternity to get the job done.. Piss show!

          Hi KPN parcel service is the VERRY VERRY WORST parcel service I have seen. On November 12 th i send my two wheeler from ChennaI DashPrakash Hotel to Kumbakonam vide LRS No: CHE[protected] &[protected]. They have charged 600 rs(Bill) and 150 aditionally for packing ( they said its Compulsory ) One person told without packing they wont take the bike and told with out packing ther are not responsible for damages and They promised with in two days to deliver the material after two days I din't get parcel again i spoke to from the booking point place they tell us sir today deffnately deliver but till date i din't received the parcel all are porgery persons can you windeup the parcel service....

          We have dispatched our product form Porur (Chennai) to Pondicherry under your LR No. CHE[protected] dated 1.6.2010 which was not delivered to the party and you could not find out the consignment till date. We have already complained to Mr. Periyannan of Chennai who informed us to take that he will take immediate action and arrange the pay the value of the material and the same was agreed by Mr. Sakthi of Guindy office.
          Mr. Sakthi informed us that he will pay the amount through Mr.Perumal of your Porur office. We have not received the money till date.
          Because of the non delivery of the material we have put to great embarrassment and have lost our valued customer. So kindly arrange to send the amount without any further delay.

          This is manokaran from chennai. In 9.1.2011, I sent my two wheller from Bangalore to Chennai through KPN Parcel Service Bangalore. I got a receipt for that. And they said after two or three days you can receive your parcel in chennai - guindy brach. But when I asked guindy branch for my parcel after three days, they said your parcel till now did not come to our brach so come tomorrow. I went there after one day, I got the same reply from them again. And no one was responded properly in bangalore branch . But whenever I called them, they simply asking my receipt number and contact number and they are telling that we will call you Sir. But till now[protected], I did not get any reply from them. Also I call somany times to customer care,bangalore office,guindy office . For that also I did not get any reply. I am really very much disappointed with their customer service.My phone bill is waste .KPN Parcel Service Pvt ltd is very very very very very worst in customer care.

            I had a very bad experience yesterday (October 25, 2009) in one of the KPN bus - Sleeper bus - From Madurai to Bangalore - Started 9 PM from Madurai on 25 October 2009. I remember the number is: KA 54 -9919.

            I paid Rs.520/- for the bus.

            The driver and cleaner in the bus were very rude. They didn't answer responsively for any of the passengers’ queries.

            I got the berth number '25' in the bus. There was a water leakage from A/C tubes in my seat. I informed the same to the driver. He rudely told me, it would be alright after some time. I was waiting for more than an hour. Around 10.30 PM (bus started 9.05 PM) the league became still worst. My bed sheets got wet. I couldn't sleep at all there. I complaint this to the driver and requested to give a different seat. After lots of arguments with the cleaner, finally they agreed to give one last bed for me. But still they treated me very badly. The cleaner was threatening me not to touch anything in that bed something like that. I felt very bad. In front of all passengers he treated badly as if I was travelling without paying any money.

            I just enquired the cleaner name. But he didn't tell me the name and complaint something to the driver. The driver stopped the bus in the middle and asked me to get down from the bus. I explained him, as the cleaner threaten me, I asked his name. The driver didn't convince at first, and then later he also treated me badly then started the bus.

            I felt this is my worst experience with KPN.

            I kept my bag and slippers in the bottom of the beds. They also get wed. My dresses inside the bag all got wet.
            The driver and cleaner were so irresponsive. Overall it became my unforgettable journey.

            Worst parcel service since i ever seen like this...
            its not KPN speed parcel service,

            They can change their name into KPN SLOW PARCEL SERVICE...

            I booked tickat on26.12.09 in your Sleeper bus KA51-3999 from

            Chennai to Coimbatore vide ticket no.123779 at Koyambedu Stand
            for the 8.30 Pm bus.To my regret, this had problem in gear box&not gears shifting easily giving noices like THUD, GRRR Etc, from the stand, but the driver moved vehicle&stopped 10 Kms.
            away near Velappanchavadi&called for repair help.It took 2 hours,
            &all o[censored]s were on road with anxiety&distress.I had a function to attend by 9 Am on 27.12.09&could not attend as the bus reached
            CBE verylate.The driver could have taken a different busOr could have seen the problem well in advance

            This is a grave hardship&sleepless night due to worry

            I Stopped travelling by KPN after facing all these type of complaints. People should try to understand that KPN is the only travel company available. Try other buses also. Definitely you feel the difference which I am experiencing now. Boycott KPN and give oppurtunity to others also.I had hell lot of very good :(( experiences with KPN which forced me trevel by Train & other travels

              I boarded KPN bus bound for Bangalore from Palani on 19/10 . Unusually this time, they were running some junk movie with high volume. One of the passenger got irritated and asked the driver to stop the TV as passengers were not able to sleep. For no reason, that driver started shouting at that passenger, that it is his wish to run the TV and passengers have no rights to switch off TV. There was no need for such a reaction from the driver, and when all passengers protested against the way driver spoke, he started speaking filthy words. This is not 1 such incident, there are way too many incidents I have seen where KPN DRIVERS give NO RESPECT for passengers.
              Also, the driving was too erratic, fearing to tell that uncivilized driver, KPN customers bore the brunt.

              Is this the way KPN Travels work? Is the management turning deaf ears to complaints given to them?
              With some rogue drivers and haphazard driving, I think people should avoid travelling in KPN Travels.

              Online booking facility extended by you is only for Axis Bank and ICICI bank customers only - only they can use the card. These days even the payment can be made through mobile phones, your not updating your system is meaningless.

              While booking online : the seats available is displayed but while booking in person, your people say no tikets available or some last seat numbers they try to sell it. Can't you update the seat availability on every second?

                I traveled in KPN bus from Bangalore to Salem. Bus Number KA 43 9919. Date Oct 15 2009. Time 11.15 PM. This bus came late. This conductor was rough to all passengers. He was drunk. Driver also using bad words about KPN management all the way.

                KPN does not care about how their staff behave.

                Yes, KPN does not care about how their staff behave. I've recently traveled twice. They behave even more worse while dropping/arrival than at picking/departure. While I was dropped near Gandhipuram, Coimbatore, on 11/02/10 around 6 am, the driver rushed, scolding passengers to get down quick and when I was last placing one leg down, the driver just moved the bus pushing me down. I felt like kicked out as if I traveled without a ticket.

                  KPN Parcel Service — KPN Parcel Service - No Delivery

                  This is saravanan from chennai. In October 2007, I sent my computer and costly research books&documents from Bangalore to Chennai through KPN Parcel Service Bangalore. I got a receipt for that. And they said after two or three days you can receive your parcel in chennai - venkatnarayana road tnagar brach. But when I asked venkatnarayana road branch for my parcel after three days, they said your parcel till now did not come to our brach...

                  KPN Parcel Service — KPN - Parcel service

                  KPN, Parcel service, Its one of the worst parcel service in this world, I have sent a CPU from chennai to dindigul at 24/04/2009, but they have taken 5 days to deliver tat CPU. Also there is no valid response from customer care at Anna nagar branch.

                  Hereafter i wont consider this KPN services..

                  Its worst, worst, worst service.

                  Kpn Travels — delay

                  Myself travelled from Pollachi to Chennai on 18th Apr, the 2+1 Non A/c bus started around 8pm and nearly took 6 hours to reach Tirchi where there was no break or heavy traffice. In the middle, I asked the driver why the bus is very slow and if any problem is there - the driver suprisingly informed me, due to opposite side vehicles, he could not driver the bus. immediately i sent a sms to the complaint no. which was written on the bus and...

                  Hello,

                  Let me put FEW worst experience that I had while travelling in KPN bus.

                  On 13-Jan-2008 I travelled from Bangalore to Nagercoil in 6.30 PM AC Bus. Expected time of reaching Nagercoil was 7.30 AM, but it reached at 11.30. Even town buses are overtaking our bus, thank God not cycles. Thanks for your wonderful service for not allowing me to spend pongal festival with my parents.

                  On 18-Jan-2008 I made my return journey from Nagercoil to Bangalore by 4.30 PM bus(2+1 seater). But the bus that plyed was 2+2 seater. So actually you have charged me more than what you supposed to. I have seen this happening during all festival season. (we know your idea, you run more seater bus and collect fare of 2+1 seater). Another thing to be noticed is, the bus started at 5.15 PM and when I checked with the driver he was offending. (bus was waiting for a person for 1hr, who never turned)

                  Three months back, my brother took 3.30 pm Bangalore --> Nagercoil bus. All our watches shows 4.30 pm, even 4.30 bus which ply between Bangalore to Nagercoil left but our bus hasn't arrived. None of KPN employees are giving proper answers. Finally there comes a bullock cart in the form of KPN bus, with full of bed bucks(which are visible) and stinking. None of the passengers are ready to get into the bus. War of words started between the driver and passengers. I am putting the same word used by one of the driver.
                  "You have paid only for one ticket and you haven't bought the bus" Guess how the passenger would have felt at that point, what an awesome hospitality.
                  I had this experience for nearly 3 times while travelling in KPN AC Volvo bus from Nagercoil <--> Bangalore. Around 2.30 while you are in deep sleep, bus stops at middle of your journey and driver ask you to board to another bus which is already waiting for your arrival. If you want to reach the destination you have to accept what ever they say at that time. The beauty amoung all this is, this bus is just an ordinary bus. Not an AC coach. Passengers are fooled by KPN. They are charged for AC Volvo coach, but forced to travel in ordinay bus.

                  I would like to make a point, if this wrong doing happens again I will take the matter to consumer court with full proof. Not only that I would write about this in all famous blogs and circulate it in mails.

                  Try to service for the money that we pay.

                  I have travelled from chennai to trichy by 2+1 ac coach, the timing was ok but while we are not taken proper care and moreover we are treated like animals while we asked for tickets to claim our reimbursement the driver is so reluctant giving it and he never gave it.At last we got a boarding pass which is no way useful.The travels has a worst coustomer care and they do not remember that we are the ones given life to them and if it goes on the company will be bankrupt one day.

                  I am regular traveller in kpn. I never encountered such type of problems. I cant understand why you are complaining about the service.
                  Rarely problems can happen but learn to comment decently.
                  What he has said is very true, the customer service of KPN is the worst I had ever seem, even the State Government buses are far better than KPN now a days...
                  I had experience yesterday in KPN Volvo Madurai to Chennai.
                  This Volvo new bus was overtaken by many ordinary air bus.
                  I was wondering why passengers like me after paying all the money Rs 570
                  and seeing a bus travelling not even at an ordinary semi sleeper bus speed, i
                  feel it is disgrace to the VOLVO bus fleet. KPN Travels is very safe no doubt
                  but for that sake one cannot drive a volvo bus so slow. The driver has not crossed
                  80 km/hr speed. Volvo is Volvo only if it crosses 100 km/hr speed. Volvo should
                  make it mandatory that their B7R and B9R busses should ply not less than
                  100 km/hr on the Express Highway. Samson

                    Such a worst service and worst timekeeping... i have decided to use bullcart for my travel neither or nor go for this outstanding(?) travels..Even in bullcart i can save my money...:(
                    REDECULOUS SERVICE BY CANCELLING BUSES WITH OUT INFORMATION AND INFORMING AFTER WAITAING FOR HOURS AT KPN TRAVELS OFFICE AFTER DEPATURE TIME
                    I am also having the same problem. The bus do not start at the time mentioned in the tkt. Oneday I saw the office boy man handled with a passenger in the Bommnahalli bus stop.
                    It is very very worst i like u to share my experience on my travel in pollachi-chennai KPN sevices today morning. it is suppose to arrive chennai at 7 A.M but arrived at 12 PM since 2 of its wheels got bursted at 2.30 AM and none to respond the passengers from any K.P.N offices which made passengers to stuck in seats till 7.30 A.M. i have never experienced such a worst service in any travels. K.P.N travels has nothing except the brand name which they earned once upon a time.

                      I have travelled in the KPN A/C Sleeper Bus numbered PY 01 AH 9919 (which is running from Madurai to Chennai at 8.00 pm schedule daily ). The worst we, the passangers experienced that, there is no working A/C on that completely closed A/C Sleeper Bus. Before We entered into the bus at 8 pm in Periyaar Bus Terminus, The KPN Sleeping facility Bus was not ready with A/C cooling and routine Pooja and all other thinks. Directly, they started that bus with passanger and the bus came to KPN Branch office KK Nagar Madurai office. In the mean time all the passangers were shouted with the Driver, who has not weared any Uniform of KPN Travel and with PAN PARAG fulled mouth and the Attender who was also not having any Uniform of KPN travels. Then they contacted with the Periyaar Bus stand, Madurai KPN office, then finally they told "get 100/- rs refund for A/C and get in the bus". All passangers had fought with them then they complained with the LOCAl SI of Anna Nagar formally. After a long speculation ( nearly 11/2 hours, they arranged a van for upper birth passanger with rs 100/- refund.

                      Really we are selecting the KPN Bus for comfort and safety and not for money refund. If we want to travel to Chennai with cheap cost, then we can select any ordinary buses.

                      The fact all o[censored]s thinking that, the KPN Bus service is very honest and very passanger friendly. But its not true nowadays. It might be before 2 years.

                      1. Now there is no regular checkup in KPN Busses
                      2. There is no two Drivers in KPN busses (There is no second Driver in PY 01 AH 9919 yesterday I have travelled)
                      3. There is no Driver with KPN Uniform (There is such Driver in PY 01 AH 9919 yesterday I have travelled)
                      4. There is no Good Attendar with Uniform
                      5. There is no Good Mechanics network in KPN Buses

                      So I am concluded that, dont think that like KPN buses are good and passanger friendly - it might be before 2 years

                      I completely agree KPN has been hijacked by its Drivers and Poor staff, If this continues Mr.Natraj will soon bite the Dust to better service like from ABT, ARC etc.

                      KPN Drivers are the worst people.
                      I had Travelled from BAngalore to Valiyoor in KPN Volvo Bus.The journy was verry horrible expiernce the blankents provided by the KPN was not even washed also and filled with bed bugs.The bed bugs were also found in the corner of the seats, There is no proper AC Maintance and i hope we can reach by Bi cycle faster tahn KPN Volvo bus. This bus is only for Luagauge service not for Human beings.
                      Compared to other travels KPN is always superior. The multi axle bus in Bangalore- chennai route is amazing.

                        I bought tickets online and wanted to cancel it before 24 hours. When i tried cancelling their website didnot work and they refused to cancel it otherwise saying it is an online booking and it has to be cancelled only online and even if the site is not working we will keep on deducting the money. This is cheating... they should have options.

                          Sir,
                          I booked two seats to Trivandrum from their Bommanahalli booking office for a journey on 5/3/08 7 pm A/c bus. When I reached at 6.30 in their office, they said that my journey is postponed to 8.30 bus without my consent. The bus came by 9.30 and started journey by 10 pm. On the way they stopped at two places at SALEM due to some repair which they say. The bus was full of Bed Bugs itching throughout the journey. When we reported to the driver they reply in a rowdy manner. The cattle lorries are better than these buses. They never stop when ever an old person want to pass urine in the night. They will start using abusing words.

                          Then till Erode the bus was running in a poor speed. At Erode they changed another bus and waisted one more hour. The condition of that bus was also not so good.

                          Actually I have to reach at Trivandrum by 10 am. I asked while booking when it may reach they gave a false information by saying that it will reach before 9am. If they could have told that they may change the bus enroute, I would not have booked by this bus. As per co-passenger's version it is their regular practise now a days. IS THERE NO GOVERNMENT DEPARTMENT TO CONTROL THIS HOOLIGANISM BY THESE PRIVATE TRANSPORTERS. In future please avoid travel by these busses, K(killing )P(people"s) N(needs).

                          I agree to the porr service of KPN! I also had very bad experience with the KPN Parcel Service today!

                          3 Carton board boxes were sent from Trivandrum of which one was opened and half the things are not to be found. It is been sealed by their own people with white strips... Lost is Lost where can i lodge a case.

                          Bemore careful while sending thru these private parcel services. I my self saw in the Parcel dump area where the parcels mentioned ' Handle with Care' thrown from the top of the bus.
                          We are regular users of KPN travels and SPEED PARCEL SERVICE.
                          Our experience with KPN ( some one said it stands for Killing Peoples Needs - true to its name ) is from bad to worse each day.
                          We send material every week from chennai to ooty. There seems to be no coperation between the various agents of KPN . Broken material because of careless loading/ unloading and handling practice is never compensated and the language we face from the so called agents is unexplainable.
                          KPN - pls understand that if service is not provided then slowly you will not have any clients in future. We also pay a higher price and we sure expect better service and responsible answers.

                          Dont ever travel in KPN.
                          I had booked return tickets from bangalore to chennai and back on the 20th. I had booked the 2 + 1 Volvo for both the onward (20th Jun 2008) and the return journey(22 Jun 2008).
                          But during the onward journey on the 20th, the bus that was supposed to start at 10:15 allegedly broke down and was replaced with a 2+2 seater bus. The bus left at 11:15 was a 36 seater vehicle and travelled full inspite of the fact that the bus broke down 15 mins before its scheduled departure.
                          On the way back from chennai to bangalore the same thing happened. The bus was replaced with a 2+2 seater and I demanded an explaination for the same. I wasnt given one. I was asked to speak to the manager of the chennai division. On asking him why the bus had been replaced, he told me that the bus had broken down. On asking him how does the bus travel full in case it has broken down just a few minutes ago, he was rude and mumbled about problems with overbooking.
                          The replaced bus was worse than an airbus, squeaky, uncomfortable and simply unbearable.
                          I had sent a complaint to the KPN travels customer care email posted on their web site but have yet to recieve an acknowledgement of the complaint.
                          I have also asked for a refund of the difference but there has been no response.
                          KPN travels became very worst longback. Better go by normal Government bus which is better that KPN and cost also very less. Main problem with Govn., the frequecy of busses are very less b/w cities, thats why all preferred to go by this kind of humbug transport services like KPN (K - Kallan, P-Porruki, N - Notorious) driver and cleaner are very rude in answering the passengers. The solution for this kind private transport is to have several pickup spots for Public transportation on the way like private. I'd very bad experience in KPN with bedbugs, careless treatment of baggage, dusty seats with broken supports, windows will not close properly during winter or rainy season (poor maintanance), most important thing...Passengers please don't use the Blankets provided by KPN services as most of them are getting allergy (It was not washed properly)...Try avoiding window seats, especially in KPN travels (More bedbugs and insects) are making us scratch our entire body (We need to spend more money f0r treatment)...

                          We poor public..doesn't have any other option this SELEM rular KPN making our life hell...by making money from us...we also don't have any other option. Live with it... When one "Anniyan" will come out o[censored]s...Expecting day to come. More over...Koyembedu Private bus terminus is also getting spoiled day by day...will Govn. will look into it...
                          I agree with all of you.. I know the KPN service from the day (atleast for 12-13yrs). Their way of business and attitude changed lot once they started earning good money. I would suggest every one to look for either trains or KSRTC if you are from bangalore.
                          for trains, you can do it from home using irctc.co.in & tatkal facility which will very cheaper than what you pay for any pvt. buses. Or KSRTC also have online booking and you will get cheaper than pvt. buses..

                          i was fond of KPN once upon a time and now never ever think of KPN now. In worst case, I used catch the govt. operated buses on the go. ;-)
                          Avoid travel by the KPN travels at any cost. They never arrange any back-up incase if the buses have to break-down mid-way. They are least bothered when it comes to customer experience. Most of their Volvos
                          are aged enough and are maintained poor. In a recent experience, on 10th Oct from chennai-to-bangalore (KA03-AD-1), the bus started at 2 PM just to stop in the mid-way near pallikonda check post. The bus had a leaky hose pipe, the drivers’ minimal attempt to fix that proved futile. There were kids, ladies, seniors all stranded mid-way with no hope getting this rectified. KPN mgmt was least bothered to arrange for a back-up, they instead sent a mechanic all the way from hosur to fix the same. The mechanic in his way, always gave false information about his where-abouts that kept the passengers guessing. When the mechanic finally arrived it was already 5 hrs since the bus had stopped. Most of the passengers tried arranging cabs/alternate transportation, but got confused when the mechanic said the bus would start in another 10-15 mins. Some of the passengers left to chennai, some found alternate transport. Few unlucky ones like me, had to wait until the bus finally starts. But unfortunately, the fix short lived again. There were no hope for few of them who travelled as none of the buses accept even a request stop. All through krishnagiri/chinnar the driver and mechanic managed to drive the bus with NO AC, intermittantly stopping the bus once in every 10 mins to pour water to the engine coolant tank. Finally at A2B restaurent near hosur, they managed to arrange seats in alternate buses enroute to bgl and we reached bgl 5AM next-day. Given this, I would think twice to travel by this KPN travels. In an unfortunate event, if I have to travel, I’d have the travel option backed-up, since KPN would be least bothered about any passengers under such cases.

                            me mohanraj, i booked the ticket in coimbatore in kpn travels on 06.02.2008 for travel on 06.02.2008 for coimbatore to bangalore, in that they had given the reporting time as 9.45p.m and departuring time 10.15 p.m. and due to some
                            inconsistency( when i started from my home , local bus came late to our stop and drunken man made problem with conductor, so bus stopped and after that some people sloved that issue and then bus started and reached travels stopped,then i went to kpntravels, gandhipuram, coimbatore by 10.15,) i went late to office, and then in that ,office guys had told, this is not a right place to get bus, he asked me to go near office which is at sathy road , coimbatore. so i catched the auto and i went there within 3 min. there i reached by 10.20, 5 min late to that office, when i asked in that office they told, bus had already went... then i asked to refund some amount of money, for that they are telling , we wont refund the money, u have to book fresh another ticket which is of rs.440., usually when i am getting bus in banglore, bus will come late by 1 hr alteast, and one more thing they are cheating the ticket booked people like this and they are selling the ticket more than 1000 rupess ,which the actual ticket rate is 300 or 350 rupees only,,,, please take the action immediately...

                            Just because on previous occasions the bus came late (1 hour is gross misrepresentation i think - wouldn't the same person complain if KPNs are "usually" 1 hour late?), it doesn't mean it should happen everytime.

                            I am not a fan of KPN either (just had a pretty bad experience on May 18, 2008) but this just a wierd complaint. You went there late, cancellation charges are clearly printed on the terms & conditions, bus went on time...i dont see a point to complaint here. Nowadays, even for someone doing the right thing, people started complaining. Too bad.

                            KPN Travels the most preferred travels in Tamil Nadu for luxury buses. Especially in the Tiruchi - Chennai, Bangalore, Coimbatore - Chennai, Bangalore, Madurai - Chennai, Bangalore. Most of the time the bus departs on time but due to the road condition the arrival time differs. KPN Travels over the period of years gained popularity due to their service and safety for female passengers.
                            Everyone knows the quality of service provided by KPN. Which else travels is more reliable than them ?.
                            none.
                            Commentators kindly could mind their language. Dont use abuse words in open forum.
                            (1) Mr. Mohanraj went late and missed the bus. It is his fault Passengers should be at the boarding point well before the departure time.
                            (2) We reach well in time to catch the train. The train may come late due to operational problems. In the same way, the Bus too may come late due to many reasons. No transport operator would like to make unnecessary delay.
                            (3) Railways do refund a portion of the ticket value even after the departure of the train. In the same way the transport operator too should refund the amount deducting a portion. It is obligatory on the part of the transport operator to refund a portion once the original ticket is surrendered. Printing the terms and conditions on the reverse side of the ticket affecting customer's rights are not valid.
                            (4) As in the case of e-ticket cancellation by the railways, the refund after deducting their service charges and penalty, the proceeds should be credited to the debit/ credit card account directly.

                            I would strongly appreciate if KPN refunds a portion of the ticket amount even after the departure of the bus. They should deduct the penalty and should return some amount because the customer did not avail the service at all.
                            iam anoop.iam a regular customer of KPN Travels.i had one bad experience from kpn.One day i and my wife booked the ticket in kpn from banglore to oddanchathram(dindugal).they gave banglore to pazhani ticket.rs/800 for two tickets.they told that the bus will come at 10:00 pm and they told me to reach at 9:30. i reached at time.i got bus.normally the bus wil reach at 6;15 or 6;30am.but bus didn't reach.i enquired to conductor about that.he replied that bus was cancelled and this stop is dharapuram, bus will not go to oddanchatram.bus wil go another route.and he told to get down there and hire some other bus.atlast we did what he told...i had told already when i book the ticket i want oddanchatram ticket.they gave that ticket, but bus didn't go where i booked.it was a very miserable incident ...
                            iam minu.i used to travel 2 times in a month by KPN Travels.Yesterday (12/03/2010---friday)i travelled by KPN travels from dindugal to banglore.i booked the ticket three days before the travelling.i confirmed my ticket.The departure time was 9:00 pm.But the bus came only by 9:45pm.It was not the actual bus.The KPN staff told that the bus was cancelled so u travel in another bus, and u will get seat there.I and my husband agreed.But there we had a problem.We got seperate seats.Atlast we decided to go and sit in the last seat.It was a horrible journey for us. Also during the journey conductor came and asked about our seat number, it was very horrible for us.When i got into the bus i had asked to the driver, the conductor and the KPN staff about my seat.They told thats not a problem u may go and sit.But i faced lot of disturbances from the bus.That was my second incident.So i decided to never ever travel in KPN Travels anymore.u should understand one thing, there is no difficulty for a customer to find travels, the thing what they prefer is quality of service.
                            I think those who have posted the good comments about the KPN travels (kpn travels is very good) is by themselves.

                            Kpn Buses have became an yuck... horrible journey i had yesterday...
                            there are lots of bedbugs and water was leaking inside. When i complained about the bedbugs to the driver he is asking me to bring atleast one bedbug and show it to him though i had shown my hands with bedbug biten marks... non sense they lot their reputation and quality of service.its high time for people to realise and make KPN travels realise the value of a customer...
                            I have a bussiness men. i have regularly kpn travels bangalore to any places going one person argu tell i killed in native placeses going. this company ESI, PF. no ok understand told. actually my address this company nothing telling in the argument.
                            Poor Service and Irrespect treatment of customer
                            I travelled on 06 th Mar'10(Sunday) from Trichy to Bangalore in 11PM Volvo 2+2 AC Bus with my wife.

                            I had very bad worst customer service and worst treating of sustomer from KPN travels trichy, I travelled from Trichy to Bangalore in 11PM Volvo 2+2 bus.

                            In trichy, after get in the bus we have seen someone vomitted in our seats, We requested to travels and bus driver for cleaning that to clean up from our reserved seats, But they put just sands on that, then they told us, this bus there is no bus cleaner, So adjust to sit on the same seats. We can not do any alternatives, which means change to some other bus/ seats.

                            I explained and fought them, Because We paid Rs.600 per seat, if you look in goverment bus fare is only Rs.250, but we booked KPN travels instead of booking goverment bus, we need good service and comfortable travel for long journey. Perhaps we booked in KPN, if you are doing like this then what is difference between govt bus and KPN travels. They replied we can not do anything now. If you not interested to travel please cancel the tickets, or travel with this problem.

                            But we have fought them at last they made one arrangement, they replaced us in some other seats, they assured no changes in seat replacement further.we asked so many times after travel started in between if any people getting in bus to fight for this seat that is not good, so we forced them to solve this problem for us or anyone who can sit in that seat.

                            But Atlast after an hour, who booked/reserved seat they get in they are coming in to fight with us, I dont want to make fight with them, becuase this travels management people cheated us for solving that problem temprovarily. Even though i asked so many times to them, but they assured no problem you can travel replaced seat till your destination.

                            But I went bus driver to fight for this, but he heaved ruidly manner, I cant go beyond certain limit becuase i came with my wife.

                            This is KPN Serice from Trichy to Bangalore, They driver ( Name:Selvaraj ) told me whereever you loge complaint against me and our travels we dont bother, what ever you want you do it we dont care and worry.

                            This is the worst service never i have seen in my travel.

                              on 18th jan 2008 i travelled from bangalore to cuddalore in KPN travels, the bus is supposed to start at kalasipalyam by 10:00 pm, i boarded the bus at bommanahalli, the bus came there at 12:30 am (2.5 hours from bustand to bommanahalli..!), that place has become a mini bustand, as the time passes hundreds of buses stand in queue and its a hectic task to identify your correct destination bus, there is no indication also, the announcers escape when too many buses are accumulated.. the bus somehow started from that place, when i woke up in the morning it was 7.30 am, i could see the bus is standing at villupuram, there unloading of parcels are happening, the bus was there from 7.30 to 8.30am, after that it started and halted in pondicherry, there again unloading the remaining parcels for 30 minutes...even you ask something about this the driver is telling you tell to the company about this.. Finally the bus reached cuddalore at 10.30 am.

                              This journey should have been completed in 7 hours(there was a delay of 5 hours only bcoz of this parcel unloading..!) the charge for this travel is Rs.396. which is very much higher than the normal bus services...where is the value for money? This is not the only case, many of my friends also complaints similar incidents.. When they have a separate division for parcel services why are they loading too much in the passenger bus also..? Will the concerned authorities will take some action to avoid these kind of embarassing situation? or will the goverment impose strict regulations in loading parcels to passenger service buses....?

                              We have sent a material from chennai to madurai on 31.01.2008,it has to be collected by our persons from KPN office on 01.02.2008, they are not delivering the material because of their poor network is not working and we are the suffers. Even we have paid for the parcel from the starting point itself. We have given the LR number but they will not give the material upto thier poor network start working.

                              I booked the ticket for the journey from Chennai to coimbatore for the date 13-06-08 at 8:30PM.But Unfortunately I had missed that KPN travels bus on 13-06-08.I have reached there(Koyembedu-Boarding place) at 9:00 Pm.So i requested the management to make an arrangement for me to go to coimbatore in another travels or need the refund for that.He said the coming bus was full and cannot go.And alos won't provide refund because that seat is going as an "empty"..If that bus seat goes as "empty" then why he didnt make some other arrangement like taking other bus to catch that bus in another Boarding place .I caught by myself other travels bus by paying 550 Rs.(i searched a lot of ATM's to withdraw a money at that night time)..

                              Please provide me the solution for the below queries

                              =>If the person miss the bus then the management will not take care about that person even that time is the night time and also the person is a girl...
                              =>if they wont refund the money back (atleast half the amount), dont they think how they can go??..Is this is the way the customers can be treated..

                              I booked the ticket in KPN for first time from Madurai to Chennai. Before I travel in KPN, I thought It is one of the best travels ltd in India, but after traveled, It is ONE AND ONLY worst travels.
                              In my first travel, I left my sleep, I was cheated, I loosed money. I learnt a lot.
                              I will never travel in KPN and also i will not recommend KPN travels to my friends.

                              Is this a customer serveice???
                              Even I had very worst experience with KPN Travels in both Bommanahalli office and Madurai Office.

                              In Madurai, they dont respect the passengers. Around 10:30 PM in night, the guy asked me to take a xerox of ID card for the eTicket. I said, it is not possible at that time and that person in counter refused me the boarding pass. I had to fight with him for 10 minutes and finally he gave me that.

                              Most worst service. However, I wonder how there is always a flock of people waiting in front of all KPN offices...
                              Same issue for me to..We bookdd the KPN tickes from Munnar to Banglore and they mentione dit is an semi sleeper busr but to our suprised the KPN guy called Kunar said that there was an group people come so they have given the bus to them and since people are less on this they gave us an normal third clas bus till 3 hours..Then arranged semi sleeper.On the way they were loading many many stuffs...It was like an goods bus ..I have taken snaps and going to the press..Anyone want to join please revert...

                              most of the buses are owned by Police officials or MLAs with their black money what else can you expect
                              I used to travel frequently between Chennai-Madurai.
                              KPN travels was regarded as one of the best & decent travel during 90's.
                              But for the past few years their service has become worst while comparing any other travels and even state transport buses doing better than KPN.

                              If the scheduled departure is 9pm, they usually delay 1-1.30hrs.

                              Your schedlued arrival time say 6.00am at Chennai, you will be crossing vilupuram that time. Eventually the delay will be 2hrs approximately.

                              As many pointed out, the drivers are very rough.Even they scold you with 'unparlimentary words' if you complaint.

                              So having paid more money and not getting value and peace of mind, try to avoid travelling in KPN.

                              i had a consingnment of 11 tins ghee in your bus. Dated 23.03.09 from oddanchatran, which had come here on 24.03.09 with a bill. But your staff have not taken the check post seal from karnataka check post, In regard to this the sales tax inspector is charging me penalty for not the mistake of mine and the ghee was ordered for the ugadi festival and it should be used fresh .As the officer is asking for hefty fine i could not take the delivery today and my purpose of the goods is not served here.I request your good office to solve the problem immediately & release my consignment for my buisiness.Every consignment had to be checked & sealed by the check post inspector, but i could not understand why my consignment was not sealed.I once again request you to release my goods without any hassle immediately.

                              KPN travels became very worst longback. Better go by normal Government bus which is better that KPN and cost also very less. Main problem with Govn., the frequecy of busses are very less b/w cities, thats why all preferred to go by this kind of humbug transport services like KPN (K - Kallan, P-Porruki, N - Notorious) driver and cleaner are very rude in answering the passengers. The solution for this kind private transport is to have several pickup spots for Public transportation on the way like private. I'd very bad experience in KPN with bedbugs, careless treatment of baggage, dusty seats with broken supports, windows will not close properly during winter or rainy season (poor maintanance), most important thing...Passengers please don't use the Blankets provided by KPN services as most of them are getting allergy (It was not washed properly)...Try avoiding window seats, especially in KPN travels (More bedbugs and insects) are making us scratch our entire body (We need to spend more money f0r treatment)...

                              We poor public..doesn't have any other option this SELEM rular KPN making our life hell...by making money from us...we also don't have any other option. Live with it... When one "Anniyan" will come out o[censored]s...Expecting day to come. More over...Koyembedu Private bus terminus is also getting spoiled day by day...will Govn. will look into it...

                              We booked one cartoon box parcel five days ago thro Kpn. The parcel was booked from Kovilpatti to sathiyamangalam. the parcel is an urgent one.In the company they do not issue receipt at the time of booking.They usually say to get the number next day. Next day they may not be available thro phone .Hence unnecessary delay is experiencing. Now, the consignment booked some five days ago to Sathiyamangalam did not despatched till date.This kind of service is expected from KPN. Yearly i am sending some 25parcelsreguarly . Hereafter I decided not to book parcel thro KPN

TN45 R 3679, L.R.No.[protected] dt. 14.07.09) is received with damages at KPN-Trichy Jn Parcel Office and I did not take delivery on 14.07.09 and insisted for proper replacement of clutch lever mounting bracket & repairing the broken sarry guard. The Manager / KPN parcel service has agreed to do the repair and make available the vehicle to Tiruverumbur office from Trichy Jn office on 15.7.09 afternoon. Inspite of contacting the manager for more than 3 times, there is no constructive response and the replies were evasive.
                              KPN management shall take immediate action to ensure delivery of the vehicle immediately on 16.07.2009 carrying out the repairs at their cost otherwise agree to reimburse the cost of repairs carried out by self. This will only make the customer satisfied and will continue their patronage with KPN[protected]Vasudevan, BHEL, Trichy.

                              I traveled in KPN bus from chennai to Coimbatore . Bus Number TN 09 AK 1999. Date Jan 09 2010. Time 10.15 PM. This bus was worst in condition. Driver was drunk. Driver also using bad words about KPN management all the way. At Tirupattur Bus met with a accident. Bus Back bumper was damaged. The was not going more than 30 km speed, passenger could not sit inside the bus ,it was full of diesel smell. Bus Reached the KPN Travel Petrol pump at Salem around 6.45 am next day. The Bus got breakdown. When the passenger try to call the care no[protected]/2222222. There was no proper response from KPN Management. KPN Manager ( [protected]) did not pick up the call. After frequent followup alternative bus was arranged. We reached Coimbatore around 12 pm. ( 14 Hour Journey)

                              I have travelled between Chennai to Thanjavur by SETC Ultra deluxe by in Jan 2010. The fare is 216 rs. But the bus conditioned is very bad, the seats are not convinient, the push back gear is not working, windows are damaged, The seats are very, very , very dirty even they spoil my shirt. The bad smell and the total condition of bus is very bad. So please suggest the coroporation to maintain the buses every day. Compare the other transports buses like APSRTS, KSRTC

                              I have travelled recently in KPN sleeper. In my opposite berth two nasty couples did sex, with irritating noise. I cant sleep. Tat girl and boy is very young, they will have only 20 yrs. KPN needs to take action on this. before booking ticket pls check whether the couples are married. since hidden cameras are soundling a lot this needs to be taken action.
                              I happened to travel by KPN AC sleeper on 27 th Dec form Chennai to Dindigul. At the time of departure the AC was on and comfotable. During mid night the AC was swiched off and when we demanded the AC the Driver was aragont and not oblged to our request.

                              During the return journey on 29th night form Dindigul, form the starting point onwards the AC was not working. The driver was not ready to switch on. Imeeditely the issue ws brouhght to the attention of customer care dept but no action was take till I reach Chennai

                              The reputed travels like KPN is performing worst than the state transport corporation. If this is the kind of a service I can as well travel by Govt . transport at a very cheaper fare instead of exorbitant fare (Rs. 1, 120 for up and down)

It was clearly mentioned in ticket that Departure time is 9:00PM. But bus started by 8:30PM and KPN nor REDBUS never bothered to intimate me on the change.I was waiting before the KPN from 8:00 PM and they never bothered to intimate me directly or through my mobile.But KPN employees coolly responded that bus has left and there is no alternative and ask REDBUS for further clarifications. And RED Bus responded that we will refund the money. Is this the response that a customer get when the mistake is on their side. Totally frustrated with Service of KPN and Redbus. Never expected such a confusion. This will be my last ticket in REDBUS and KPN. Worst service i have ever seen.
                              My name is suresh. I travelled with my friends ( five o[censored]s ) on 14th June 2011 ( which started at 2.30pm from Trichy ) to chennai. We were supposed to get down at Tambaram. The Bus driver who must be real and short tempered beggar had no patience to halt at the stop. We kept our suitcase and bag in the belly baggage. Since it was around 8.00 pm we cound not locate our bag and baggage. And the driver beggar refused to switch on the light also. Besides that beggar kept on moving the bus inch by inch and made us real furious. if KPN travels continues this attitude this kpn bus owner will come to zero level.
                              as it spoils its reputation which was gained one decade before.that rascal (bus driver) must be sacked .

                              My name is Suresh. I travelled on 14th from Trichy to Chennai at 2.30 pm . I travelled along with my friends who are with family who are totally 8 persons. (5 males and 3 females)We are supposed to get down at Tambaraam and arrived at 8 pm . We kept our luggage in belly side of the bus. That driver who drove the bus was very short tempered and must be . i dont know how kpn owner employed such a dirty beggar in his bus service. that driver is one number one third rate beggar.

                              When the driver stopped the bas Tambaram we got down and tried to take our luggage out. since it was very dark we could not pull our luggage out. With some how help of mobile light we could manage.

                              the most irritating point, that rascal driver was driving the bus inch by inch and made us tensed every moment. If this attitude continues like this i am sure kpn travell will go to dustbin.

                              KPN travels select Goondas as drivers . Management does it knowingly as tne new generation believes this is the best way to handle issues. But all these goondas does pooja .before starting the bus.

                              on 29th June 2012 I travelled from Chennai to Madurai in KPN travels -AC-SLEEPER, the bus is supposed to start at koyembedu by 10:15 pm, i boarded the bus at koyembedu 9.30 pm, the bus came there at 11:00 PM (1.5 hours from bustand to KOYENBEDU..!), The bus somehow started from that place, when i woke up in the morning it was 6.40 am, i could see the bus is standing at Trichy, ..Finally the bus reached Madurai at 8.30 am.

                              This journey should have been completed in 7 hours(there was a delay of 3 hours only bcoz of poor driving..!) the charge for this travel is Rs.740. which is very much higher than the normal bus services...where is the value for money? This is not the only case, many of my friends also complaints similar incidents..Will the concerned authorities will take some action to avoid these kind of embarassing situation?

                              We lost the morning season meeting at Madurai.

                              So what is the use of high fare? SETC reach same time

                              Hi Iam Manoj, happened to travel in KPN Bus (AC Sleeper)via ticket No - G[protected] from Chennai to Trichy on 10/8/2012 @ 10:30 pm with my wife. The Driver & the conductor were shouting, hauling & using all flithy languages.

                              They were treating the passengers as as if we were travelling at their mercy.

                              None of the passengers query was either answered in a polite way.

                              KPN Claims that "Quality Service is our Motto"

                              But its high time they change it to " Worst Service is our Motto"
                              GOVT.NEVER TAKE ACTION AGAINST THIS BECAUSE THIS IS INDIA .
                              I traveled past 4 months from udumalpet to bangalore bus number is 4799, every day the a/c is not working properly, if i complaint to driver he is shouting this is limit given from the company, inside we can't sleep ... and while coming from bangalore to udumalpet from to tiruppur to udumalpet it take 1hours 15 min, but the driver driving 2 hours, pleas take action...
                              I had a very horrible experience while travelling from Tuti to Blore in KPN travels recently.
                              1. The condition of the bus is pathetic.
                              2. It is a AC sleeper coach but the AC ducts were all broken
                              3. There was water leaking all over my seat
                              4. The bed speads were unclean and stinking. There were bedbugs too
                              5. The ac was either too cold at certain places in the bus or never reached other places.
                              When we ask the agent, they gang up and fight with us without even listening to our request.

                              I have photographs of the pathetic state of the bus and incidents that happened. I would like to file a complaint at the consumer court at the earlist. I would request all passengers who use KPN to look for alternate modes of travel as this has some of the worst characteristcs
                              Dear Sir, I myself Murali Nair, pnr no- TGD2IW92822, Seat No- U 27, Ticket booked from Bangalore ( Madiwala) To Ernakulam, dated 18-02-13, the bus left bangalore at the right time, and more over i am regular traveller by KPN to any destination, you can see the records, this time it was very horrible to see that the driver and his assistant are putting the passangers, it was really a disturbance to us, as the bus was Sleeper Class A/C, the passangers those who come in between are pulling the curtains and seeing, wether the seats are available, and it was early morning around 5 AM, the passangers are coming from palakkad to ernakulam, Hence i request you to take a severe action on these drivers and his assistants.The bus no- KA-51A 7579.Due to this the bus reached Ernakulam at 9.20 am.Hope you will give a better service to avoid such kind of disturbances.

                              It ia my first Sleeper bus journey in KPN bus from chennai to Trichi on 18th Feb'13 night and from Trichi to Chennai the next day-the same bus and the same driver.It was a pleasant journey of course...The driver was very courteous to the passengers very responsive to all the queries put forth by the passenges..He yells the destination points on arrival and keep them alert...
                              I was wondering whether the authorities ever bother for the welfare of their drivers?..A lone driver with no companion/helper..He is a human the mgmt need a humanitarian approach...The selection of drivers training them for safe driving, taking care of the passengers by them, sharing all the information they need...all is the responsibility of the mgmt...I was a regular customer/admirer of KPN services from[protected]:..the services were excellent...but now I am afraid it is not there ...the company has grown and so is the technology...The growth of the company&technological improvements in the transporting system should reflect in the services rendered to the travelling public and the welfare of the one who drive the wheels.

                              I would like to share my worst experience during travelling in KPN bus from cumbum to bangalore...the behaviour of the driver was really very very worst...i have booked the ticket for 7.45 pm bus from cumbum to bangalore...based on the bus timings i have finished all my works and exactly 7.30 pm i reached the bus stand to pick up the bus...i didnt had my dinner on that time...because its 7.30 pm...usually i travel in other travels they will stop for dinner at any motels around 9 or 10 pm...i taught this bus also will do the same...the bus started on the correct timing i was so tired but i cant able to sleep because i am hungry...exactly around 10.30 pm bus reached dindugal...i taught there are going to stop in any motels...but they stop the bus at passengers pickup point and without informing to the passengers only for them they purchase the parcel food for dinner...i saw that and i asked with the driver there you will stop the bus for dinner????...for my question this is the reply given by driver.
                              we wont stop the bus for dinner...u have to eat and come from your home itself or u have to take parcel...if dont want to worry about your hungry...i wont stop ...this is the reply from driver.

                              Note: Please drivers...kindly think about the passengers situation also...what is going to happen i[censored] stop the bus for 15 to 20 mins... did your management will provide you any prizes or incentives i[censored] reaching soon to your desination...this is not a race...please keep in mind...i am not a old guy...i can manage for one night without eating...please think about ladies and old peoples...KPN management please avoid this kind for drivers from you management...
                              I was waiting at Dharmapuri bypass from 06:45 PM for reserved KPN bus (7:00 PM departure) but I left Dharmapuri at 08:42 PM by a government bus for Salem to get the KPN bus. bus journey was also not pleasant because of bedbugs.



                              On 26/03 I booked a up and down tickets at KPN Nagercoil office for 28/03 (5:45 PM reporting time & 6:00 PM departure time) to Dharmapuri and 29/03 (6:45 PM reporting time & 7:00 PM departure time) return from Dharmapuri. 28th I took the bus & reached Dharmapuri on time.

                              On 29th evening I called KPN Dharmapuri office on [protected] at 05:43, 05:50 PM - Nobody picked up the phone. I reached KPN Dharmapuri office at 06:40 PM, found office is opened and nobody inside the office. One old lady (around 65 years) next to KPN office told me that the staff will come after 8:00 PM and asked me to stand aside the high way where the bus will stop and pick me up. Also she shown me one cell number written on the wall [protected] to contact the staff. I called that cell number at 6:43 PM - not reachable.

                              I stood on the place where that woman shown at 6:45 PM and waiting for the bus. same time I received a SMS from KPN saying that "Ticket #: C[protected] Seats: 8A Boarding:DHARMAPURI(KPN) at 6:45PM vehicle #: KA 51A 4199"

                              I was also trying on [protected] to get in touch with KPN Dharmapuri staff - Not reachable

                              07:01 PM - I called KPN Nagercoil office on [protected]. A gentleman said bus will come around 07:20 PM and pick me up.

                              07:17 PM - I called KPN Bangalore office on [protected], [protected], [protected] - No response

                              07:24 PM - I called KPN Nagercoil office on [protected]. The gentleman was not happy to answer my call and he said "I do not know anything, contact Dharmapuri office"

                              07:45 PM - I keep on calling Dharmapuri office staff on his cell number of [protected] 10 times at proper intervals.

                              08:15 PM - I got KPN Dharmapuri staff on [protected] and he replied "Do not worry bus will come and pick you up", he arrived spot at 08:22 and repeated the same thing a again. I put some pressure on him and called somewhere and found bus already crossed Dharmapuri, reaching Salem. I asked him to arrange a seat in the f following bus from Bangalore. He said all the other buses are full and he will ask the bus driver to wait at Salem till I reach Salem.

                              08:35 PM - I received a call from bus driver saying that they will wait at Salem till I reach Salem. Dharmapuri Staff was with me till I get a bus to Salem at 08:42 PM

                              08:51 PM - KPN driver called me and asked me whether I took a bus to Salem

                              08:53 PM MR.Jagan ([protected]) from KPN called me and said sorry

                              09:10 PM KPN driver called me and asked my location and said not to worry they will be waiting till I reach Salem

                              09:34 PM Mr.Jagan ([protected]) called me and asked my location

                              09:47 PM Bus driver asked my location I said I am just arriving Salem

                              09:53 PM I reached the bus and bus started - What about the valuable time ?????



                              I was waiting at Dharmapuri bypass from 06:45 PM for reserved KPN bus (7:00 PM departure) but I left Dharmapuri at 08:42 PM by a government bus for Salem to get the KPN bus. bus journey was also not pleasant because of bedbugs.
                              I'd book'd a ticket in KPN from Chennai to Erode by 28th, May, 14 in Pollachi Bus which goes via Erode and I supposed to report and board at Guindy office by 9.45 pm. Fortunately, I did report at Guindy office by 9.40 pm and here comes a surprise, the Kpn employee told me that, Pollachi Bus has been cancelled because most of the seats are not book'd to run the bus and asked to board in 10.45 pm Bus(same Multi axle volvo). Here the trick comes, i hear'd from one of an Egmore KPN emp that, most of the time(let say three -- four days in a week) the pollachi was not operated, we end up in paying more than what we suppose to pay especially if you buy a ticket in online. If you buy a ticket in Pollachi bus it cost us 740 Rs/- and buy a ticket in Erode bus it cost us 690 Rs/- only. The funny thing is that, they never inform us any time before saying “Bus has been Cancelled ". We are forced to wait for another 2.30 hrs in Guindy office without any basic amenities.
                              I tried to reach the Kpn office emp, he was not responding properly and rude.. Finally, I got a contact number of Salem office they too responded rudely... Finally, i said okay and boarded in seat no 32 which they alloted to me in guindy, once bus reach'd perungalathur, gentleman reached me and said "he been alloted Seat No 32" in the same bus. This was terrible experience for me by paying more than what i supposed to pay and spending my valuable time(2 hrs and 40 mins in guindy office without any basic amenities) and endup in boarding the last seat which was not a seat of my choice anytime..

                              While returning back from erode, the bus started Sunday[protected] at 2.20 pm but it supposed to start by 2 pm, bus was started without fixing the sun rooftop issues. We end up in spending an hour to fix the problem in Salem, it in turn delayed in reaching Chennai for 2 hours, where traffic piled up at peak time.
                              P.S: Before starting the journey, the drivers and co-workers should make sure that, everything is good to start the journey, don’t think KPN travel is doing so. Instead they ask us to board in bus that too not in time and will do all other mechanical work part of the journey. They never care it hurts and eats the passenger time and may impacts the scheduled plans.

                              Don't travel in KPN travels. No proper maintenance of the buses. I travelled in AC Volvo bus on 05-Jul-2014 from Chennai to Tirunelveli. After two hours of travel, two tyres are busted and we have to wait for more than one hour to replace the tyres. Again after some time, another tyre also busted and driver complained KPN management that of not providing new tyres for the bus. Finally, I reached the destination by boarding Govt bus and by paying extra money.
                              My friend booked my ticket well ahead. The bus got canceled right at the moment when she reached and she was allocated the last seat in other bus. She has back problems so the reason she took the ticket well ahead and in front rows. If the bus is going to get canceled it needs to be intimated well ahead. I believe because of less passengers it was canceled. These things needs to be handled properly by KPN. Customer service is not good in this situation. She has to reach bangalore tonight and so she has to waste 10000 rupees and go by Taxi/ Cab.
