I am owner of 2013 Duke 200. Bike is really great and fun to ride. My concern is with the unskilled stuff at most of the KTM service centers. What are the measures taken to maintain the brand value of KTM in india?. As i have seen, the service of KTM is getting really pathetic.
Particularly the "Kivraj motors" situated near domlur which is an authorized KTM service center (walkable distance from my apartment) give a really unsatisfactory service. Even the simplest chain lubrication is done in a really pathetic way. Also, they couldnt solve my handle bar alignment issue till date. Please have a look at the skill set of your staffs, which according to me is at level 0.
Anyways i dont go to any authorized service center now, as i have lost the confidence in a any service center's around bangalore. But please have a look at the issue, as I am really sceptical about upgrading to bigger bike in KTM brand itself. Am scared to buy Kawasaki versys 650 either, because i got to know that Kawasaki will be serviced by KTM itself in India!!! . Same view from my every friends who own KTM.
