KTM Sportmotorcycle — Ktm service center - madhapur hyderabad
I have been using duke 200 since 2015-feb. Recently moved to hyderabad from banglore. Last week i had a problem with bike that it was showing low battery. So i took it to the nearest ktm service station i. E., madhapur on 20-jan-2017. The technician checked the bike and confirmed coil was damaged and need to change it. I asked them will that be under warranty, they said no with out even checking.in fact the owner of the service center said they don't have a facility to check warranty of the bike online, and that is a shame to ktm. So as i lost my booklet i had to pay the amount which was rs.1745.
After leaving from there, just to clarify my doubt i called up my regular service center technician and and explained whole scenario and he told me that induction coil is under warranty for two years from the date of purchase, since my bike is still under warranty and yet they charged me without even giving a try to check it online.
So they cheated me for gaining 1745/- that is how ktm hyderabad service stations operating!!
Its sad to see such premium brand's service station is nothing helpful but cheating, i didnt feel this way as long as i was at bangalore.
So one final question to ktm when you have such a great reputation, why do you have to hire such cheap people are you not getting enough through bikes and spares??
